On the morning of April 8, the opening ceremony of the adaptability training for self-employed retired soldiers in the spring of 2024 in Xinbei District was held in Changzhou Branch of Aneng Group, with a total of 40 directors and retired soldiers from various towns (streets) veterans' service stations attending.
Tao Wenzhong, director of the Xinbei District Veterans Affairs Bureau, combined with his own mental journey in the 30 years after retirement, used rich examples and simple language to put himself in the shoes of all retired soldiers and seek truth from facts to exchange life perceptions, and guide retired soldiers to determine the future development direction as soon as possible, and do a good job in the three planning goals of far, medium and near, pay attention to study and practice, know how to work hard, keep integrity, and keep the motherland in mind. Tang Zhijian introduced the new achievements and achievements of the construction of his hometown in the past two years, and encouraged the retired soldiers attending the meeting to adapt to the new environment, realize the gorgeous transformation from the army to the locality, and realize their self-worth in the high-quality development and modernization of their hometown.
In accordance with the relevant regulations, self-employed retired soldiers should participate in the adaptability training of retired soldiers in a timely manner after returning to their hometowns, and the training duration is not less than 80 hours, the training duration is 10 days, and the training time is from April 8 to 17, which is divided into centralized training and online training, of which April 8 to 13 is centralized training, and online training is April 14 to 17. The curriculum is rich and colorful, covering local economic and social development, retired servicemen's policy publicity, confidentiality education, career guidance, psychological counseling, anti-fraud and anti-fraud, as well as enterprise observation, employment recruitment, etc., and invited experts from all parties to teach, during which recruitment night markets, large-scale enterprise visits and other activities will be organized, which can effectively improve the comprehensive quality of retired soldiers and adapt to the new situation of social and economic development.
