You can only look at the appearance or refer to other people's evaluations. But the appearance is confusing, and the evaluation of others may not be objective and accurate.
The key reasons that finally got me into the GX85 were ...... The price was cheap at the time.
But as I became familiar with the various sects, I regretted it:
"Hey, I should still buy the A6400 with faster and more accurate focusing...... Fujifilm's film simulation is really good...... Or do you have to add money to the full frame and see this background blur ......"

Later, I held back and decided to read the photography textbook first, and then buy an M4/3 lens to satisfy my hunger.

Later I bought Panasonic's 14-140mm large zoom lens, which has a small aperture but is extremely lightweight. After the combination of the built-in image stabilization of the lens and the GX85's super body stabilization, the gimbal and tripod are not in a hurry to buy (the total weight is only 700 grams).

That's when I really understood the true value of the M4/3 – lightweight.
Not only is it lightweight, but the key is that the lens is very lightweight, excellent stabilization eliminates the burden of having a gimbal device, and stabilization also extends the limits of the safe shutter speed, so you can play with a slow speed while holding it in your hand – eliminating the need for a tripod.

Although the image quality of the small bottom is not as good as the big bottom, it is better than the high "frequency" of shooting - I hardly have to worry about "whether to go out with the camera" (with 14-140 total weight 691g, with 25F1.7 total weight 551g).
Although the a7C has better image quality, it is combined with the heavy Tamron 28-200 (total weight 1084g) or the relatively light original 20G (total weight 882g...... I always have to weigh whether it is necessary to bring it with me.

So why did I buy a full-frame a7C?
Three years after I bought the GX85, my photography skills have improved, so I hope to upgrade my equipment to further improve my photography skills (I think too much).

Let's not talk about the level of photography, just the image quality, the full frame is really good! The dynamic range is very wide - even if the exposure is wrong, you can make up for it later. I took a lot of "landscape blockbusters", and there was a lot of room for post-adjustment, and the photos were sold for some money on the picture worm.
The a7C's RAW format has 15 stops of dynamic range and high post-production space.
It is precisely the arrival of the a7C that highlights the lightness of the GX85.
The GX85 is a playmate who can easily enjoy photography (the process), and the a7C is a reliable assistant to help me achieve higher image quality (results).
Of course, it's not that the full-frame shooting process is too hard, it's just that the camera is not as light as the small-bottom camera.

Of course, mobile phones are not necessarily suitable for all photography enthusiasts, especially beginners.

But I don't think people who have a basic knowledge of photography can experience the true joy of photography through their mobile phones - because mobile phone manufacturers deprive them of the fun of the "photography process" and simplify the operation by using AI algorithms.
They use multi-frame synthesis to generate high-quality images, and use the magic of turning stones into gold to stimulate your brain to secrete dopamine, create a feeling of coolness, and then buy and buy......
One-click blockbuster, second master, this is the success of science and technology, but it is the sorrow of photography.
Fortunately, mobile phone manufacturers now know that the parameters and image quality will not be able to roll up one day, so they have launched various photography competitions to guide more users to participate in photography in a "proposition" way.
