Wisdom empowers and unleashes innovation

Colorful lights, buildings with a sense of science and technology, rivers and roads run through them...... This future cityscape of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is drawn by a large model of the Hong Kong R&D Centre for Generative Artificial Intelligence.

"Hong Kong's first self-developed basic model trained by us has been preliminarily completed and is expected to be released in the middle of this year. Professor Guo Yike, director of the center and provost of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, said that the center integrates the strength of five universities in Hong Kong and has made rapid breakthroughs since its establishment in October last year.

In the exhibition halls of the centre, visitors can experience 10 applications such as using artificial intelligence to assist writing and answer professional questions, and touch the forefront of Hong Kong's innovation and technology development.
