At 12:12 a.m. on April 15, China successfully launched the four-dimensional Gaojing-3-01 satellite using the Long March-2D carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
The satellite is China's first commercial optical remote sensing satellite with an ultra-wide width of more than 130 kilometers and a resolution of 0.5 meters and a combined image data product of 9 bands, which can efficiently serve emerging markets such as digital agriculture, smart water conservancy, and digital cities, as well as land and resources survey, urban management, environmental protection, disaster prevention and mitigation, maritime security, and other fields, providing users with high-efficiency and high-performance spatio-temporal information services.
