On April 15, Zhang Jianfeng, one of the partners of Alibaba Group, released an all-staff email announcing the CEO change of Banma.ai.
The Board of Directors has decided to appoint Dai Wei (Yuanbao) as Co-CEO of Banma.ai, and Zhang Chunhui will no longer serve as Co-CEO of Banma.ai, with immediate effect.

Dear Zebra people, with the arrival of the new fiscal year, we are facing the uncertain industrial competition situation, as well as the new opportunities and challenges brought by general artificial intelligence technology, we need to embrace the changing times with a more proactive attitude and achieve more product innovation and commercialization breakthroughs.
Over the past four years, under the leadership of Chunhui, we have steadily implemented the OS strategy trilogy, achieved technological and product breakthroughs, doubled sales, revenue and valuation, and won market and industry recognition. It has laid a solid foundation for the development of the company. In order to better seize the development opportunities and obtain greater market growth, the board of directors has decided to study and decide:
Dai Wei (Yuanbao) was appointed as Co-CEO of Banma.ai, and Zhang Chunhui no longer served as Co-CEO of Banma.ai.
The above adjustments are effective immediately.

Zhang Chunhui
Zhang Chunhui joined Alibaba Group in 2010 and has served as General Manager of YunOS Business Unit, President of OS Business Group, Director of Cainiao Network ET Lab, and Co-CEO of Banma.ai. He has led the R&D and promotion of YunOS, the first self-developed mobile operating system in China, from 0 to 1, led the R&D of cutting-edge technologies and products such as unmanned vehicles, drones, and robots in Cainiao Logistics, explored L4 unmanned driving in logistics scenarios, and gradually promoted commercial applications.
Dai Wei
Dai Wei (Ali nickname: Yuanbao), COO of Alibaba Entertainment and Vice President of Alibaba Group. He used to be the general manager of Youku's sports and children's business department and the CEO of Ali Sports.
