On April 15, the "10th Anniversary of the Overall National Security Concept and Innovation Leadership-Kaiyuan City's 2024 'Rejuvenation of a Strong Country' National Security Education Knowledge Competition" ended wonderfully in the lecture hall of Yunnan Honghe Technician College. This competition is not only a contest of knowledge, but also an in-depth popularization and promotion of the concept of national security in the whole society. It aims to enhance the national security awareness of the broad masses of the people and continuously improve the ability and level of safeguarding national security.
Yang Weiming, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech, and the leaders and guests of the Political and Legal Committee of the Kaiyuan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Yunnan Honghe Technician College, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal People's Procuratorate, the Municipal People's Court, and the Municipal Bureau of Justice participated in the knowledge competition.
At the scene of the game, the spectators concentrated on watching and promoting learning, and the warm applause pushed the atmosphere to a climax. After rounds of competition, the topics involved the major strategic deployment of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on national security and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on national security, the "National Security Law", "Cybersecurity Law" and other aspects, testing the comprehensive quality of each contestant.
The team members worked together, and finally 36 players from the 12 participating teams achieved excellent results after more than an hour of competition. While they won honor for themselves, they also brought a feast of knowledge to the audience.
The audience was set up to answer questions at the scene, and the spectators actively rushed to answer, and the atmosphere was warm and extraordinary.
In this activity, through the way of promoting learning through competition, we will enhance the awareness and literacy of national security, so that everyone can strive to be a "propagandist", "practitioner" and "guardian" of national security. Although the competition is over, the pace of learning and safeguarding national security will never stop. Let us go hand in hand, catch up with and surpass others, implant the concept of national security deeply in our hearts, and jointly protect our homeland.
