In June 2014, the Second Hospital of Qujing City took the lead in carrying out bariatric surgery in the city, and has successfully carried out more than 1,500 bariatric surgeries, with good surgical results and high social satisfaction, and the number of bariatric metabolic surgeries is the first in the province. The Department of Minimally Invasive Metabolic Surgery of the Second Municipal Hospital has continued to develop rapidly, and has published 12 academic papers, including 3 SCI papers, and won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of the Yunnan Provincial Government in 2018. He has held 3 national and provincial academic conferences on bariatric and metabolic surgery, and has been invited to give more than 10 special lectures at domestic and foreign conferences. At present, he is applying for 2 provincial and national basic research projects and 1 new material clinical application project. He has successively guided more than 10 hospitals in the province to carry out various bariatric and metabolic surgeries, which has been recognized by his professional peers.
