Gong [gǒng], the glyph of Jin Wen resembles a person stretching out his hands and holding the "gong" in front of him. The glyph of seal script 1 is a shape and sound character composed of work and 丮, and the glyph of seal script 2 is added with leather underneath and written as "鞏".
Today, it is simplified to "Gong", but the right side of the word "Gong" is not from "Fan", but from "丮".
