A few days ago, we obtained a set of new car teaser images of Mazda's all-new CX-80 from relevant sources, and the new car is scheduled to debut on April 18, and will go on sale in May this year, and deliveries will start in the third quarter of this year. According to Changan Mazda's plan, Changan Mazda CX-90 is expected to make its debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, and then it will go on sale in the second half of this year.
Judging from the teaser pictures released, the new car will adopt a large-size front grille design, supplemented by matte material trim around the perimeter, and well connected with the headlights, with exaggerated vent shapes designed under the headlights, and a front lip design of the same color as the body at the bottom, which strengthens the sporty sense of the front face.
The side body continues the Mazda soul design language, and the concave and convex door design shows a strong sense of power. The front fenders feature exclusive logos and multi-spoke blacked-out sports wheels. Silver trim accents have been added to the window bezels and under the rear spoiler, enhancing the car's sense of sophistication. The rear styling is similar to that of the Mazda CX-90, with a narrow and sharp taillight design and a hidden exhaust layout.
The new car will be 5 meters long, with a wheelbase of 3 meters, and will have a seven-seat layout. In terms of power, the all-new Mazda CX-80 overseas version will be equipped with an e-Skyactiv-D 3.3-liter inline-six diesel engine, an e-Skyactiv-G 3.3-liter inline-six petrol engine, and a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic manual transmission.
