In order to make the Aerolith Reference turntable have the characteristics of eternal suspension like a meteorite, the turntable and the base are designed with a self-inflatable air pressure pad, similar to the air pressure tires of a car (front 2 and 1 rear), so that the vinyl turntable can achieve "air floating" on the whole platform, this unique patented technology has excellent damping and decoupling characteristics, which can effectively eliminate the interference of various vibrations on the vinyl turntable. The top ball, on the other hand, is larger and at the same time plays a heavy role in supporting the heavy metal turntable vertically. Volker confidently states that the bearing has an extremely long life, no maintenance, no oil, lifetime maintenance and can withstand heavy operating turntables (50kg), which is very expensive to manufacture for core components that are mainly in motion for long periods of time and have a significant impact on sound quality.

The Aerolith Reference vinyl turntable is a single motor combined with a belt drive. Volker says that multi-motor causes unwanted noise, vibration, and interference. It is advisable to use a single, "very low" torque (5mN) low-speed motor, and at the same time add springs to the motor as the first stage of decoupling, and the transmission of a soft belt as the second stage of decoupling, to ensure that the negative vibration interference is reduced to the extreme. The motor has a built-in Class A power supply mode, when the speed reaches the standard and constant speed, the power supply will be cut off, and the inertia of the large mass turntable will operate for a long time, and the speed will be continuously monitored by the optical pulse sensor, and the power tracking supply will be realized. This design effectively eliminates the need for control loops that can adversely affect the WOW and flutter spectrum.
