Organized by Liu Haisu Art Museum and Lu Yanshao Art Institute, this exhibition selects a total of 70 emerging prints, striving to recreate the true portrayal of the real situation of the Chinese people, taking realistic care and art intervention in society as its mission and responsibility, and using artistic actions to follow the revolutionary spirit and interpret the connotation of the new era.
It is understood that on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of China's emerging woodcut movement in 2021, Liu Haisu Art Museum will launch the "Year after Year, Archives - Shanghai Contemporary Emerging Printmaking Promotion", which pays tribute to the emerging woodcut printmaking movement through the cultivation of printmaking talents, academic research combing, display of excellent works, records of the creative process, and collection of artworks.
"This exhibition not only pays tribute to Mr. Lu Xun's contribution to China's emerging printmaking, but also pays tribute to the imprint of the times and the national spirit engraved by the emerging printmaking. Yu Zhenyu, director of Liu Haisu Art Museum, said.
