Mountains and rivers surge, spring full of China. Jointly produced by the China Association for Science and Technology, China Central Radio and Television, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering; the special program "Science Popularization in China" will be grandly launched at 10:20 a.m. on CCTV-1, a comprehensive channel of CCTV-1, on April 14, and rebroadcast at 20:30 on the evening of CCTV-10 on April 15. Through the inventory of the annual science popularization models, the program comprehensively shows the major achievements made by science popularization workers in various fields, promotes the spirit of scientists, helps promote the improvement of the scientific quality of the whole people, and practices the new cultural mission and responsibility in the new era.
Wang Yaping, a heroic astronaut who has won the highest honor of "Science Popularization China", reviewed the mental journey of the three space lectures with deep affection at the scene. In this national-level space laboratory, we adhere to the sacred mission of carrying out aerospace science popularization for young people, and work side by side with 10 other astronauts to make aerospace science popularization an important part of China's science popularization.
In the world of popular science, the spirit of scientists is also called, and many academicians are also taking active actions. While climbing the peak of science and technology, they shoulder the dissemination of popular science, although they have a lot of hair on their heads, they still rush to the road of popular science without hesitation. Academician Wang Hao, a well-known water conservancy expert, is one of them. For more than 50 years, Academician Wang has traveled all over the great rivers, lakes and wetlands of the motherland, and has always been active in the front line of water conservancy science popularization, spreading the Chinese wisdom of harmonious coexistence with water. At the scene of the program, Academician Wang Hao and his wife vividly told the story of not being able to take wedding photos due to going out to popularize science, and made up for the "regrets" of more than 40 years at the program site.
It is worth praising those popular science people from the grassroots, among which the representatives of the annual popular science figures have stepped onto the stage of "popular science China". Thousands of them silently dedicated, worked hard, and practiced the purpose of "for the people, innovation, and enlightenment", wrote a new chapter of the times with popular science, and played a heroic symphony of the times.
This special program also boldly innovates at the level of "technology", using multiple forms of AI technology to make the presentation of the program more diversified, fashionable and aesthetic. The recording site showed China's first AI symphony "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", which was originally created by the artificial intelligence composition system of the Central Conservatory of Music, through AI vision, and also used AR stunts to show a variety of virtual scenes with different styles, and used digital intelligent people to host in series, creating an extraordinary world of popular science.
There are four newcomers among the six hosts of the program, and these four newcomer hosts are all the top ten contestants in the 2023 Main Station Host Competition, helping "Science Popularization China" with a youthful and energetic hosting style.
