When I was a child, I was deeply impressed by Guo Yuehua's curiosity.
He was curious: People have two eyes, why can't one look at the blackboard and the other look out the window? Otherwise, when I was looking at the birds jumping on the branches outside the window, I was called up by the teacher to answer the question, often not because I couldn't answer the question, but because I didn't know what the teacher was asking just now, standing there, looking dazed, not knowing what to say, in front of everyone, it was very embarrassing.
We tried many times to look at each side with both eyes, but it never worked.
When I was in the fourth grade, one day, I don't know which classmate heard someone say that a cat can't die if it falls from a high place. Guo Yuehua happened to have a snow-white Persian cat at home, and he wanted to try it with this cat to see if this statement was correct.
Guo Yuehua hugged the big Persian cat and wanted to find a high place to throw it down. We were driven by curiosity and wanted to see the results, so we followed him. At that time, I really didn't know the sky, and I didn't think about the consequences, I didn't think at all: If the Persian cat fell to death, how would Guo Yuehua explain to his parents when he went home?
At that time, the family building of the Shenkong compound was only three floors, and Guo Yuehua didn't think it was high enough, so he had to find a place high enough to throw the Persian cat down to see if he could fall to his death.
The highest place in the Shenkong compound, in addition to the large chimney of the boiler room, is a nine-story office building. Nine floors, high enough. In 1964, the tallest building in Shenyang was the Shenkong Office Building.
The Shenkong office building as a whole is a main building with auxiliary buildings on both sides, the main building has nine floors, and the auxiliary buildings on both sides have seven floors. It was completed and put into use in 1964.
Guo Yuehua hugged his Persian cat, and a few of us children walked with him to the office building. That Persian cat was big and heavy. It lay very meekly in Guo Yuehua's arms, squinting its eyes, enjoying the caress of the little master, not knowing where the little master was going to take it, let alone thinking that the horror was coming.

When he saw Guo Yuehua hugging a big white cat, he was very curious, so he asked us what we were doing? We said go up to the top floor and throw the cat down from the upper floor. He said, "If you don't fall to your death!" A classmate replied, "You can't die if you fall!" He didn't believe it.
The elevator went to the ninth floor, and we came out to find the stairs leading to the rooftop and went up to the rooftop. The roof is large, covered with all kinds of radio station antennas, and the breastwork is high and wide. We climbed up the breastwork, clutched onto the lightning net made of steel bar, and lay on the wide breastwork. Look down and say, "Wow!" It's so high. The people on the ground are so small!
Guo Yuehua grabbed the hind legs of the big white cat, slammed it into the sky, and then quickly climbed up to the chest wall and lay on it to watch.
The big white cat is rolling in the air, the speed of the rise is gradually slowing down, the big white cat is constantly adjusting its body, to the apex of the rise, the object is transformed from the rising process to the falling process There is a momentary pause, the big white cat quickly flips the body, face down, straightens the neck, opens the four paws, straightens the tail, and the body lies flat on the ground, like an open handkerchief, and begins to float down.
In the whole process of falling, the big white cat is still constantly expanding its paws, adjusting its body, maintaining balance, at the moment when it is about to touch the ground, the big white cat quickly gathers its body, shrinks its paws to the underbody, forming a buffer, after landing, the big white cat immediately burrows into the grass and disappears.
When we rushed out of the office building, we saw the guards at the door with a stunned face, and they were probably wondering: how did a big white cat fly down from the sky?
We saw the big white cat running into the grass, so we searched everywhere, but we never found it, so we had to hang our heads and accompany Guo Yuehua home. Although the big white cat did not fall to his death, he ran away, and he had to be beaten up when he came home! We accompanied him, and his father came home from work, and he might only be able to roar angrily and not wave.
Unexpectedly, the big white cat actually went home on its own. When he opened the door, the moment the big white cat saw Guo Yuehua, he immediately ran away with a frightened face, and suddenly ran up to the cabinet and hid. When everyone saw it, they were full of joy and would not be beaten.
From then on, as soon as the big white cat saw Guo Yuehua, he was so frightened that he ran around, either jumping on the cabinet, or hiding under the bed, and never made love to him again.
Guo Yuehua's curiosity contributed to his future success. When he was working at Hubei TV Station, the TV film "Shennongjia Golden Snub-nosed Monkey", which took seven years to shoot, won the UNESCO Award. Seven years of filming was very difficult, cold and scorching, lonely and lonely, mosquito bites, starvation, lying on his stomach for more than ten hours, it was his curiosity and desire to find out that supported him and made him.
