The word "Temerario" is of Spanish origin and literally translates to "reckless". The name may seem simple and brutal, but it is actually a continuation of the Lamborghini Revuelto naming convention, which literally translates to "chaotic" or "unruly".
The all-new Lamborghini Temerario is expected to be launched by the end of 2024 and will be powered by a plug-in hybrid system. Judging from the spy photos, the exterior design of the Temerario is still significantly different from that of its big brother Revuelto, but the interior continues some designs, such as a floating instrument cluster and a particularly narrow small screen in front of the co-pilot.
Although the camouflage is plastered with a pair of Gallardo headlights, the lower thin strip pattern is its new main light, which is different from the Revuelto headlights. In addition, the Temerario daytime running lights are lower on the sides and have a hexagonal design, and the car has larger air intakes at the front and rear fenders, which appear to be shorter in size than the Revuelto.
This time, the Temerario will no longer be built on the same platform as the Audi R8, but will actually be separated from the Huracán and Gallardo, and the new car will share the carbon fiber chassis with the Revuelto.
In terms of mechanics, Lamborghini said that the new Temerario will be powered by the same 8-speed dual-clutch transmission as the Revuelto, which is entirely developed by Lamborghini. In the case of the Revuelto, the transmission has an integrated drive motor, so it is likely that the new Temerario will also have the same design. The only thing fraught with uncertainty at the moment is whether the Temerario will also be paired with dual motors on the front axle like the Revuelto.
Engine-wise, the all-new Temerario may not be powered by a V10 engine and will be replaced by a V8 engine. It is speculated that because it is a plug-in hybrid system, this V8 may be the V8 engine on the Urus plug-in hybrid.
