On April 12, the launching ceremony of the "Healthy Teeth Smile Project - Invisible Orthodontic Dental Public Welfare Project" was held in Xixiu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Li Dongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Lianci Health Public Welfare Foundation, Song Chen, Director of China Children's Charity Relief Foundation-Care for New Life Project, and relevant persons in charge of the District Health Bureau, the District Education and Science Bureau, the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and urban schools (central schools) attended the event.
At the launching ceremony, Li Dongwei introduced the significance and purpose of carrying out this public welfare project, and made suggestions for the project to be carried out in Xixiu District, and at the same time awarded the license and donated materials to the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. On the same day, training was also conducted for the public welfare project of Healthy Teeth and Smile for the relevant persons in charge of urban schools (central schools) and medical personnel.
Li Dongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Lianci Health Public Welfare Foundation: "Our Healthy Teeth and Smile Project Public Welfare Project will provide relevant support to the education department and health department and maternal and child health hospital in Xixiu District, mainly in several aspects: first, we will recruit volunteers to carry out oral health examinations and popularize oral science knowledge in various schools, and establish oral health records. Second, we will provide expert support to non-health dentistries to enhance the services and treatment capabilities of our dentists. Thirdly, we provide the district maternal and child health hospital with relevant equipment and facilities for oral health management, oral disease screening, and correction of oral malocclusion. Fourth, we provide some support and assistance to primary and secondary school students and students participating in public welfare projects in the district. ”

It is understood that the "Healthy Tooth Smile Project - Invisible Orthodontic Dental Public Welfare Project" is a national public welfare project jointly initiated by Beijing Lianci Health Public Welfare Foundation and China Children's Charity Relief Foundation, and the implementation time of the project in Xixiu District will last until December 2026, during which it will carry out health education and basic oral health examinations in oral care for primary and secondary school students in Xixiu District, provide work allowances for project service volunteers, and reduce early screening, examination, and diagnosis for patients who need orthodontics. Modeling and other expenses to effectively reduce the burden on patients. Through the implementation of the project, it aims to comprehensively improve the oral health level of primary and secondary school students in the district and help the high-quality development of Healthy Xixiu.
