Accident case 1

Accident case 2
At around 16:19 on February 26, 2021, during the resumption of work and production of Hubei Xianlong Chemical Co., Ltd., an explosion occurred in the illegal production of methyl sulfide, resulting in 4 deaths and 4 injuries. The main reason for the preliminary analysis of the accident is that the accident unit carried out methyl sulfide distillation and purification, and when replacing the reducer of the stirring motor, the material in the distillation kettle was not cooled, resulting in the methyl sulfide in the kettle heating up and violent decomposition and explosion.
Accident case 3
On February 20, 2020, a fire accident occurred in the production workshop of Bohui New Material Technology Service Co., Ltd., Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, with a fire area of 2,880 square meters. The direct cause of the accident was that in the process of resuming work and production after the Spring Festival, the production supervisor changed the heating process parameters of the oven to 160 °C without authorization, which exceeded the specified temperature control parameters; during the baking work of the oven, no production personnel were arranged to be on duty to supervise, and no personnel were arranged to be on duty in the video monitoring room; a large area and a large number of raw materials were stored at the operation site, which increased the area of the fire; in the early stage of the fire, the fire pump room motor could not work normally, resulting in insufficient fire water pressure, which delayed the fire-fighting time, and led to the aggravation of the consequences of the accident.
Accident case 4
On October 15, 2019, a hydrogen sulfide poisoning accident occurred at Jinyao Chemical Co., Ltd., Chaoyang County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, resulting in 3 deaths and 4 hospitalizations. The direct cause of the accident was that during the resumption of production, the enterprise instructed the operators to disassemble the pipeline valve of the crude thiophene decolorized and condensed liquid phase to the crude thiophene receiving tank during the resumption of production, and the operator did not wear air respirators, fully enclosed chemical protective clothing, and did not use portable gas detection and alarm instruments for maintenance operations, resulting in poisoning.
Accident case 5
At about 23:00 on February 15, 2019, a gas poisoning accident occurred in Shuangzhou Paper Co., Ltd., Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, resulting in 7 deaths and 2 injuries. The direct cause of the accident was that in the process of resuming work and production after the Spring Festival, the company arranged 7 workers to clean up the sewage regulating tank involved, and the employees were divided into three groups to work in shifts under the condition that they did not ventilate, did not test, and did not wear labor protection equipment that met the standard standards, and the agitation of dredging gradually released the hydrogen sulfide gas in the sludge into the pool. At about 23 o'clock, the third group of 3 workers was poisoned after only a few minutes after entering the sewage regulating tank. After hearing the cry for help, 6 employees blindly rescued without doing a good job of self-protection, resulting in an increase in casualties in the accident, resulting in a total of 7 deaths and 2 injuries.
