Shanghai Citizen Art Night School is an important part of the Municipal Party Committee's People's Heart Project and the "Social Aesthetic Education Plan", which improves the artistic accomplishment and humanistic quality of citizens and improves the aesthetic ability of the public. On the evening of April 9, the spring class of the 2024 Civic Art Night School Fengxian Branch "Life Tea Art Class" was held for the first time at the teaching point of the Community Cultural Activity Center of Jinhai Street, with a total of 12 classes once a week.

Chinese tea culture has a long history, and the students in the class gather together to appreciate the tea art and touch the tea ceremony in line with the common preference for tea art culture. The tea art teacher is Cheng Yao, a nationally certified senior tea artist and senior tea evaluator from Mu Ming Tang.

At the beginning of the course, Mr. Cheng told everyone what is the generalized tea culture and life tea art, and took everyone to understand the types of tea and experience the tea making process. Then, Mr. Cheng took everyone to know the tea set, explained how to use the tea set, and demonstrated the techniques and skills of making tea.

From tea identification, tea ceremony etiquette, and tea brewing, the practical operation is carried out one by one, and in the process of making tea, students can deeply experience and understand the tea art culture. At the end, everyone drank their own tea.

The fragrance of tea was overflowing, and the students were enthusiastic. After the class, everyone said that through the tea art course of the citizen night school, they not only learned the basic knowledge of tea art, but also "met friends because of tea", and met more like-minded tea lovers.
