Yunnan Net News (Reporter Zuo Chao Liu Ziyu) From April 11 to 12, a delegation led by President of the National Assembly of Vietnam Ong Dinh Hue visited Yunnan. Wang Ning, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, met with the delegation in Kunming.

Wang Ning extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Wang Tinghui and briefed him on Yunnan's economic and social development. He said that General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong jointly announced the building of a strategically significant China-Vietnam community with a shared future at the end of last year, drawing a blueprint for China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperation in the new era. In recent years, Yunnan Province has continuously strengthened exchanges and cooperation with relevant departments and localities of Vietnam, and has achieved fruitful results in connectivity, economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and people-to-people exchanges. Yunnan is willing to work with all parties in Vietnam to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two parties, earnestly implement the relevant work related to Yunnan, promote the cooperation matters reached through mutual visits and the consensus reached through the meeting mechanism, and make greater contributions to further deepening the building of a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam. It is hoped that Yunnan and Vietnam will make full use of the existing cooperation mechanisms and platforms, continue to strengthen friendly exchanges between the two sides, expand cooperation in the fields of characteristic agriculture, green energy, cultural tourism, minerals, and digital economy, jointly develop and expand the port economy, accelerate the construction of key interconnection projects such as railways and highways, strengthen cooperation in the field of legislation, and implement "small but beautiful" livelihood projects, so that more cooperation achievements can benefit the people of the two countries, and constantly consolidate the public opinion foundation of China-Vietnam friendship. All walks of life in Vietnam are welcome to experience "there is a life called Yunnan".

Wang Tinghui congratulated Yunnan on its achievements in development. He said that Vietnam is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two parties, strengthen cooperation in various fields in accordance with the "six mores" goals, and further promote the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future of strategic significance. The traditional friendship between Vietnam and Yunnan is deep, and there is a broad space for cooperation. Vietnam is willing to work together with comrades from China and Yunnan Province to inherit and carry forward the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China, strengthen economic and trade exchanges and people-to-people exchanges with Yunnan, deepen cooperation in modern agriculture, tourism, exhibitions, new energy and other fields, work together to improve the efficiency of customs clearance, enhance the level of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, promote the construction of key infrastructure cooperation projects such as highways and railways, and actively expand practical cooperation in various fields between Vietnam and China. We welcome more high-quality enterprises from Yunnan to invest in Vietnam and achieve common development and progress.

During their stay in Yunnan, the delegation attended the China (Yunnan)-Vietnam Dialogue on Trade and Investment Policies and Opportunities in Kunming, and visited Ho Chi Minh's Former Residence, Yuntianhua Green Agriculture High-tech Industry Demonstration Project, and International Flower Auction and Trading Center.
Hu Xiaoli, deputy secretary general of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Liu Hongjian, Qiu Jiang, Li Xiaosan, Wang Shufen, Liu Yong, and Han Mei of Yunnan Province attended the meeting.
