According to online rumors, the chat records between Chen Moumou and the woman were sent to the Zhejiang Zhengding chat group by Chen Moumou's wife, and Chen Moumou may have snatched back his mobile phone before withdrawing some of them. Several chat pictures show that a netizen with a female avatar is marked as "Cai Mouyun", and the chat content between the two sides is very ambiguous, and the netizen with a male avatar said to each other that his eyes, heart, and brain have been filled with each other.

Another video shows that on the afternoon of April 11, a "letter of apology" printed out of A4 paper appeared on a number of cars on Xinhe Street in Wenzhou, and the publisher of the letter claimed to be Cai Mouyun, because he wanted to transfer the department, he took the initiative to dedicate himself to Chen Moumou many times, and his parents asked him to apologize to the society, and the payment was made on April 10.

According to online information, Chen Moumou is the deputy director of the Wutian Sub-district Office in Ouhai District. On April 12, the reporter contacted the sub-district discipline inspection committee, and a staff member said that Chen Moumou was the deputy director of the sub-district office before, and now the establishment is still hanging in Wutian Street, but at present, he is working in a local digital security port work class. The staff member also said that Chen Moumou was a leading cadre in the district management, and the neighborhood discipline inspection work committee did not have the authority to investigate him.

Regarding the online rumor that Chen Moumou was reported to have derailed, on April 12, a staff member of the Ouhai District Commission for Discipline Inspection of Wenzhou City told reporters that he knew about the situation and that the matter was still in the process of being handled.
