Palestine has submitted an application for membership in the United Nations, what is the resistance to the establishment of the state? Can the state be successfully established?

The establishment of Palestine was a tortuous and long-term one, after 12 years of being an "observer state" in the United Nations. On the 2nd of this month, Mansou, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations, sent a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Requests for reconsideration of the application submitted by Palestine for "accession" in 2011.

Palestine has submitted an application for membership in the United Nations, what is the resistance to the establishment of the state? Can the state be successfully established?

On the 8th of this month, the UN Security Council submitted Palestine's application for membership in the UN to the Committee for the Admission of New Members and held its first consultations.

According to the regulations, the admission of new members to the United Nations requires the consent of two-thirds of the member states, which is not a big problem. In addition, if the P5 agrees, this may be a bit problematic. But even if the P5 agrees, will Palestine be able to establish a state?

The reason why Palestine was not able to establish a state was due to Israel, the reasons of Arab countries, and its own reasons.

A brief historical review shows that the Palestinian region in the 10th century belonged to the territory of the Tulum dynasty of Egypt. It was later occupied by the Abbasids of the Arab Empire. In 935, the Abbasid Turkic slave Tug established the short-lived Ikhshidi dynasty. After that, the Palestinian area was called the territory of the Fatimid Caliphate.

In 971, the Jarah dynasty gained independence from the Fatimids, established itself from northern Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and occupied all of Palestine. Later, the Jarah dynasty was destroyed by the Fatimid Caliphate. After the Crusades, the Latin Kingdom was established in the Palestinian region, which was established by Europeans. Later, the Kurdish Saladin emerged from Asia, defeated the Latin kingdom and established the Ayyubid dynasty. In 1249, the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt, founded by Ayyubid Turkic slaves, collapsed. In 1517, Sultan Selim I of the Ottoman Turkish Empire destroyed the Mamluk dynasty of Egypt.

In World War I, Egypt and Saudi Arabia were British colonies. France and Germany fought a fierce war on the European continent. Britain fought in Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the direction of Palestine against the Ottoman Empire.

After World War I, Ottoman Turkey gave up all its territory except for present-day Turkey. In 1922, the League of Nations attributed the areas of Palestine to the Mandate.

From the above account, Palestine was transferred from the territories of the Tulum dynasty, the Ayyubid dynasty, the Mamunuk, the Ottoman Turkish Empire, and the British Empire, which became slaves of the Arab Empire, Egypt, and the Turkic Empire.

In 1947, the United States and the Soviet Union constrained Britain from occupying Palestinian areas, so there was Resolution 181. The resolution provides for the establishment of a Jewish and Arab State in the Palestinian areas.

The Jewish state was established the next day and was called Israel, but was besieged by the surrounding Arab states. Israel lost first and then won, not only keeping the land that the United Nations had shared, but also taking an extra piece, Jordan and Egypt. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees have fled, including Yasser Arafat.

Since the Arab countries have not recognized Israel, and since the territory of Israel has grown after each war, Palestine cannot be stated. The fact that the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel had been taken back from Arab countries further complicated the matter.

In 1988, Yasser Arafat proclaimed the establishment of a Palestinian state in Algeria. Note that the statehood here is based on the fact that there is no territory in Palestine.

In 1994, according to the agreement reached between Palestine and Israel, Palestine achieved limited autonomy in Gaza and other places, and the autonomous region was gradually expanded to 2,500 square kilometers. But it is far from the territory divided by the United Nations at the beginning, and there is no way, who told them to do the wrong thing.

There are Arab reasons, Israeli reasons, and internal Palestinian reasons. Within Palestine there are the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Palestinian Resistance Group, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Correspond to Fatah, Hamas, Jihad, respectively.

Just by looking at the name, you can see that the resistance and jihadist groups are very radical and advocate the elimination of Israel. But the reality is that they simply don't have the strength to compete with Israel. Moreover, Palestine is currently the self-governing government in Israel.

The establishment of a Palestinian state requires the nod of Israel, and if Israel's national security is not guaranteed, Palestine will not be able to build a state. Because now Palestine simply does not have the capital to negotiate conditions with Israel. Moreover, with the internal problems of Palestine, it is even more unlikely that Israel will allow Palestine to establish a state.

In March 2007, Hamas and Fatah formed a coalition government, and in June, the two groups fought again. Hamas takes control of Gaza.

Moreover, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, it will face many economic problems. Most of the Palestinian government functions and powers are now in Israeli hands. How to hand over, how to transition are all questions.

Even if the United Nations agreed, the real problem was not solved. We hope that Palestine will be able to establish a state smoothly and that the Palestinians and Israelis can live in peace, but it is true that there are many problems.
