In early April every year, the distant white snow-capped peaks, patches of pink peach blossoms, emerald green barley fields, unique Lhoba dwellings and crooked rivers form a fairyland-like picture, which is bright and magnificent.
Standing on the square, bathed in the brilliant and dazzling sunshine, watching the statue of the Douyu Luoba nationality against the backdrop of peach blossoms and surrounded by mountains, there is a unique style.
Climbing up the steps from the square, the peach blossom trees are swaying in the wind, a gust of wind blows, the petals are like butterflies, fluttering their wings and dancing in the picturesque spring, which makes people fascinated.
Encyclopedic knowledge: Douyu Village has an average altitude of 3,100 meters, and its residents are composed of Lhoba and Tibetans, and it is under the jurisdiction of Douyu Luoba Ethnic Township in Longzi County. More than 90% of Douyu Village is of the Lhoba ethnic group, and it is the only village in Shannan where the Lhoba ethnic group gathers.

In the early years, the Lhoba people lived in the valley and jungle of the Yarlung Zangbo River valley in the eastern Himalayas, living a life of gathering and hunting, and this way of life also gave birth to their unique national costumes and culture.
The most striking feature of the Lhoba is its extensive use of black and white colours, which can effectively help the tribe better integrate with nature while hunting.
With the progress of the times, people's aesthetic concepts have also changed, and the colors of Luoba clothing have also become diverse. The Lhoba people's headdresses, waist ornaments, necklaces and some decorations on their feet all reflect the national characteristics of the Lhoba people.
The hornbill's beak on the brim of the hat is the most distinctive part of the Lhoba men's clothing. The hornbill is regarded as a sacred bird by the Lhoba people, and the hornbill's beak is made on the brim of the male hat, which symbolizes the Lhoba people's reverence for the sacred bird and their worship of nature.
The little-known Lhoba people do not have their own written language and historical documents about their own people, so Lhoba costumes have become one of the most valuable Lhoba heritages. In 2008, the Lhoba costume was included in the national list of intangible cultural heritage. These simple clothes and gorgeous decorations sparkle in the deep mountains of Shannan.
