Follow the Tropic of Cancer all the way east
What's different about China?
▼
On June 21, 2019, the day of the summer solstice, the sun almost directly hit the Tropic of Capricorn, and the Northern Hemisphere ushered in the longest day of the year.
▲ All the way to the east, the Tropic of Cancer extends into China, passing through Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Taiwan, in these areas, the desert that follows the Tropic of Cancer disappears without a trace, replaced by green jungles and vertical river valleys. Cartography / Cheng Yuan
The Tropic of Cancer passes through the Sahara Desert, the Arabian Desert, and the Thar Desert in India, which are arid, hot, and barren. When it travels eastward into China, passing through the four provinces of Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Taiwan, it will be a different scene. Influenced by the monsoon, the climate here is mild and abundant, and in every sense of the word, it is the most colorful land in China.
Yunnan: Where is the colorful Yunnan?
Yunnan is a province dominated by plateaus and mountains, with people living near mountains and water as neighbors, and the terrain is extremely diverse. The province's tropical and subtropical climate is dominant, and there are many changes under the influence of the topography, and "colorful Yunnan" lives up to its name.

Hani Terraces is a model for Yunnan people to use and transform the natural environment. On the other side, the typical karst landform of Puzhehei is strange and beautiful, and it is a rare karst lake wetland ecosystem.

In addition to climate and topography, the most diverse culture in Yunnan is the ethnic culture. Many ethnic minorities live in the mountains and rivers of Yunnan and continue their wonderful lives. Of course, it also creates a lot of tempting delicacies for foodies.

Guangxi: Mountains and rivers everywhere in the world
There are not many provinces that have a fight with Yunnan in terms of "colorful", and Guangxi can be regarded as one. The karst landscape here is endless, and the mountains and rivers are beautiful everywhere, and Guilin is not the only one in the world. It is also the sweetest "fruit belt" in China. After the summer solstice is the height of summer, the scorching sun, it is better to go to Guangxi, along the Tropic of Cancer all the way to eat.
