On April 11, the national intangible cultural heritage protection list - Fengdu Temple Fair was grandly opened, which lasted until April 14. The four-day temple fair will bring an "immersive" intangible cultural heritage experience to the general public and tourists.
The thousand-year-old temple fair has been inherited to this day, and it has lasted for more than 1,000 years. The Fengdu Temple Fair, formerly known as the Famous Mountain Incense Fair, originated from the spontaneous organization of all walks of life to worship the ancestors of the common faith, and each sect also worshiped its own gods. After thousands of years of development, the old-style incense festival has gradually evolved into a centralized temple fair, which integrates a variety of folk arts and folk culture.
In 1988, the "Fengdu Temple Fair" was resumed again, and in 2015, the Fengdu Temple Fair was successfully included in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list, becoming a large-scale festival integrating cultural activities, economic and trade activities, and tourism activities.
The theme of this year's temple fair is "Visiting the Fengdu Temple Fair and Forming a Three-Life Love", and a total of 17 activities have been planned and created in four chapters: "Millennium Covenant", "Fortune Blessed Land", "Fengming Pingdu" and "Business and Trade Activities".
The parade is the highlight of the previous temple fairs, and the core content of the parade is the "cloudy son marrying his relatives and going out on the tour". This year, the parade will hold a sacrificial ceremony at the Hongsheng Commercial Plaza carousel, and then go to the Dijing Jiangshan carousel via Pingdu Avenue.
This year's "Yin Tianzi Marriage Parade" mythical love theme, through "love at first sight", "two worlds love", "fate of three lives", "group of immortals congratulations", "divine bird sway" and other theme floats to reproduce the grand scene of the cloudy son and the son of heaven to tie the knot, behind the traditional performance team also joined the parade makeup interactive team, making the scene more grand, the story more exciting, the interaction more frequent, and the experience more shocking.
At the opening of the temple fair, the Fengdu County Blue Sky Rescue Team received the invitation of the County Public Security Bureau and dispatched 5 vehicles and 23 people to the event site with personal communication equipment and medical first aid kits to provide safety for the temple fair parade team.
