The beloved is gone
In 2008, a sudden cancer cloud loomed over Tian Hua's family. The first is her young and beautiful daughter-in-law, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the prime of her life.

However, fate did not spare her and the family. In 2012, the results of her second daughter-in-law's breast cancer test ruthlessly shattered her last bit of hope. Tian Hua's heart was completely eclipsed, her world seemed to be shrouded in a thick haze, and there was no light in sight.
At the end of 2013, her beloved partner, Dr. Su Fan, who has been fighting side by side with her for decades, was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer.
This row of overwhelming blows made Tian Hua fall into the quagmire of despair, and she wanted to give up everything and die several times. But the fire in her heart and her attachment to her relatives made her regain her fighting spirit.
She relied on tenacious perseverance to support the lonely soul, turning grief and anger into strength, and in just 5 years, she did her best to break the bank, trying her best to treat her family, just to see them recover to health one day.
But fate is ruthless after all, in the autumn of 2014, her most beloved youngest son Yang Xuehong passed away, leaving only a sentence of "thank you mother" before dying. Tian Hua burst into tears, as if the whole world had left her.
Subsequently, Su Fan and her two daughters-in-law also passed away one after another, and she completely lost her beloved and relatives, and faced this cruel world alone.
The war-torn years
In August 1928, Tian Hua was born in Nanfangshui Village, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, in a poor and ordinary farming family. Since she was a child, she has tasted the hardships of life and the bitterness brought about by poverty.
In order to help her mother, who works all day, share the burden of housework, Tian Hua took on the responsibility of labor prematurely at a young age. She once accompanied her mother to spin and weave under the night of the full moon, and looking at her mother's focused side face, Tian Hua's heart was very guilty.
Her mother often reluctantly told her about the family's poor life, and Tian Hua was young and ignorant at that time, and it was difficult to understand her mother's distress. Whenever she saw the affluent life of other people's families, she would be greedy, and pull the corner of her mother's clothes to demand the same life.
At the darkest time in his life, a ray of light suddenly shone into Tian Hua's life. When she was 15 years old, she saw the Eighth Route Army perform a lively "troupe" in the village, and a strong urge to join the army spontaneously arose in her childish heart.
Soon, Ding Ming and Ge Zhenbang, two soldiers, found her and sent her an invitation to the swearing-in brigade. With her father's consent, Tian Hua joined the Anti-Japanese Drama Club with enthusiasm and started a new chapter in her life.
In a blink of an eye, Tian Hua celebrated his 16th birthday. At that age, she had the courage to join the Communist Party of China, become an excellent communist fighter, and accept the iron baptism of party members.
Since then, she has been immersed in the war-torn life, and with the Jin-Cha-Ji Field Army to the front line, she performed on the battlefield while marching, and used songs and dances to inspire the fighting spirit of the soldiers.
In the rain of bullets, she also once incarnated as a field hospital instructor, bravely standing at the forefront of helping injured comrades in times of crisis. Whenever she won the battle, she would dedicate herself to the soldiers to perform cheerful songs and dances, use her artistic power to inspire everyone's will to fight, and drummed up the courage to continue to fight to the end for everyone countless times.
Although the war years were difficult, the environment could not stifle Tian Hua's persistent pursuit of art. In 1951, she finally got her wish and was honored to appear on the big screen, and in the world-renowned movie "The White-Haired Girl", she brilliantly created the classic image of "Xi'er", which is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Since then, she has embarked on the road of no return to the peak of art and opened a new chapter in her life.
Blooming flowers
When Tian Hua faced the film camera for the first time, he had the purest and persistent love for art in his heart. In the crew of "The White-Haired Girl", a classic film with lingering sounds, she received personal guidance from senior actors Chen Qiang, Li Million and others, and learned the essence of playing this role from them.
In order to better portray "Xi'er", a woman who was born in poverty and suffered but still bravely pursued freedom, she even went to a local farmhouse to experience the life of local women and fully integrate herself into this role.
Tian Hua deeply rooted the fate of "Xi'er" in his heart, and showed this tenacious and unyielding female image vividly with sincere and pure feelings. For a while, the film caused a sensation after it was released nationwide, and Tian Hua became famous in one fell swoop, and was regarded by the audience as "the first comedian in New China".
Since then, she has starred in a series of excellent films such as "The Party's Daughter" and "The Country is Beautiful". In "The Party's Daughter", which is adapted from the novel "Party Fee", she vividly portrayed the heroic image of the revolutionary martyr Li Yumei's fearless sacrifice and unswerving loyalty, which won warm praise from countless audiences.

In 1980, after 10 years of encounters and doubts during the Cultural Revolution, Tian Hua finally regained the spotlight with his outstanding performance. In this way, she was forced to say goodbye to her beloved art hall for 10 years.

A persistent seed slowly sprouted and took root in the depths of her heart, and she secretly determined that one day she would make a comeback and shine in the art world.
And so the opportunity came. Bayi Film Studio was preparing to shoot "Hunting No. 99", and director Yan Jizhou had no reservations and invited Tian Hua to play one of the seemingly inconspicuous small roles with great sincerity.
Sure enough, under Tian Hua's superb acting skills, this small role immediately shone brightly. From her performance, the audience re-saw the solid basic skills of this master actor and his grasp of the spiritual core of the role.
