The 135th Canton Fair will be held from April 15 to May 5. As an important platform to open up the international market, Foshan attaches great importance to and actively prepares for the exhibition, the Canton Fair "Foshan Army" exhibitors present four major characteristics, the scale of the exhibition is on a higher level, the advantage of the industry pays more attention to the group exhibition, the exhibition format is more abundant, the enterprise exhibits are more innovative, Foshan will show its strong strength to the global merchants.
In this Canton Fair, the number of exhibitors in Foshan Export Exhibition reached 628, with 1,896 booths, including 637 brand booths and 1,259 general booths, covering building materials, home appliances, furniture, lighting, textiles and other industries. According to statistics, the number of exhibitors and booths in Foshan increased by 40 and 81 respectively compared with the previous session, once again hitting a record high, and the number of booths ranked among the top three in the province.
Another highlight of this year's session is that Foshan attaches more importance to showing its strong strength in a group, highlighting the effect of "1+1 is far greater than 2". Foshan Shunde District Household Appliance Base (National Transformation and Upgrading Base) and Foshan Nanhai Xiqiao Textile Base (Guangdong Province Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base) will collectively appear at the Canton Fair, hoping to make full use of the platform resources of the Canton Fair to show new products, new ideas and new models of traditional industries such as Foshan home appliances and textiles to the world.
During the Canton Fair, Shunde enterprises will show their magic and display "fist products" to attract guests from all over the world. Midea Group will bring a number of new products to the show, among which Midea's MHELIOS energy management system is the most eye-catching. The system provides single-phase and three-phase hybrid on-grid and off-grid inverters and high and low voltage batteries, providing endless possibilities for customization. Through the three major technological innovations, the operating voltage range of photovoltaic power generation is broadened, the communication quality of the system in the whole home environment is improved, the energy coupling optimization control of household electricity consumption and photovoltaic storage and inversion system is realized, and the overall system energy efficiency is effectively improved.
At present, Foshan's preparatory work is being carried out in an orderly manner. Next, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce will focus on the service work during the Canton Fair, and jointly set up a special class for resident work in various districts, actively meet the needs of enterprises on the front line, solve enterprise problems in a timely manner, continuously improve service levels, and fully support enterprises to make good use of the Canton Fair platform resources to expand the market and seize orders, so as to contribute to the high-quality development of Foshan's foreign trade.
At the same time, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce will also seize the opportunity of the Canton Fair to organize supporting activities such as the 2024 Foshan Night Consumption Festival, invite global merchants and tourists to visit Foshan, provide them with rich and diversified consumption experiences and preferential activities, further release the "venue effect" of the Canton Fair, and promote the growth of foreign trade, consumption and other aspects.
