Candidates who pass the written examination of the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination and whose results are within the validity period can register for the interview of the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination in our province if they meet the following basic conditions:
✅ Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China.
✅ Household registration or valid residence permit in Sichuan.
✅ Abide by the Constitution and laws, love education, and have good ideological character.
✅ Meet the physical examination criteria for applying for recognized teacher qualifications.
✅ Meet the academic requirements set out in the Teachers Act.
✅ Social candidates with household registration or residence in Sichuan Province can register for the test at the place of household registration or residence permit application.
✅ Students within two years before graduation from higher education institutions in Sichuan Province can register for the examination at the place where the school is located, and students whose household registration is within two years before graduation from higher education institutions in other provinces in Sichuan Province can register for the examination at the place of household registration.
✅ Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents studying in our province should register for the test with reference to the provincial student policy, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents working or living in our province should register for the test at the place of work or residence.
✅ Students (second grade and above) or graduates who meet the requirements of preschool education (early childhood education) major announced by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security can choose to apply for kindergarten in the "place where the school is located" or "where the household registration is located".
✅ Candidates with overseas academic qualifications should register for the examination with the Certificate of Foreign Academic Qualifications and Degrees issued by the Service Center for Scholarly Study of the Ministry of Education.
✅ Persons who have been deprived of their political rights, or who have been punished with fixed-term imprisonment or higher for intentional crimes, must not register for the examination; persons whose teaching qualifications have been revoked must not register for the examination for five years; and persons who have cheated in the examination for teacher qualifications must not take the teacher qualification examination again for three years.
⭐️ Online registration
Candidates can log on to the website of the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination (http://ntce.neea.edu.cn) from 10:00 on April 12, 2024 to 17:00 on April 15, 2024 to register, and the steps are as follows:
Step 1: Register. Candidates who have already taken the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination (written examination) in the first half of 2024 do not need to register, and other candidates must re-register. When registering, candidates must fill in their name, ID number and other relevant information correctly, and upload an electronic photo that meets the requirements.
Photo Requirements:
(1) A bareheaded, frontal, color, white-background ID photo within the past 6 months, showing the upper part of the candidate's head and shoulders, and hats, headscarves, headbands, and sunglasses are not allowed;
(2) The photo file should not be larger than 200kb, and the format should be jpg/jpeg;
(3) The photo will be used for the admission ticket and the certificate of passing the examination, please upload it in strict accordance with the requirements. Candidates who upload non-ID photos will not be able to pass the review.
Step 2: Sign up. Special Reminder:
Candidates shall be responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the personal information and registration information they fill in. Secondary vocational professional courses, secondary vocational internship guidance, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish and special education subjects can only be applied in the Chengdu examination area.
⭐️ Online audit
The interview registration will be reviewed online, and the review time will be from April 13, 2024 to 17:00 on April 16, 2024.
The online audit is based on the information filled in by the candidates themselves for comparison and review, candidates should ensure the authenticity of the registration information, such as due to information errors, as well as false reporting, concealment of information to participate in the interview, if the application for the recognition of teacher qualification certificate, because the information filled in is false information or does not meet the registration conditions resulting in the identification of failure, the responsibility shall be borne by the candidates themselves. Candidates are requested to pay attention to the status of registration review in time during the review period, and candidates can modify their registration information in the status of "Registration to be reviewed". Candidates who fail the review must modify their personal information (including photos) within the review period, and must also re-apply for the test subjects and submit them again. Once approved, the candidate's information cannot be changed. If the revised information is not submitted within the time limit, it will not be reviewed.
⭐️ Online payment
After passing the review, candidates can make online payment, and the deadline for payment is 24:00 on April 17, 2024. Successful online payment will be deemed to have completed the registration for this exam.
⭐️ Printing of the admission ticket
The printing time of the admission ticket is from May 6 to May 12, 2024, candidates are requested to log in to the website of the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination (http://ntce.neea.edu.cn) to download and print the interview admission ticket by themselves, and take the examination at the designated place according to the time requirements on the admission ticket.
Interviews for the Kindergarten Teacher Qualification Examination are not divided into subjects.
The interview subjects for the primary school teacher qualification examination are divided into: Chinese, mathematics, English, ethics and rule of law, science, music, physical education, art, mental health education, information technology, general education, and special education, a total of 12 subjects.
The interview subjects for the junior high school teacher qualification examination are divided into: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, ethics and the rule of law, history, geography, music, physical education and health, art, information technology, history and society, science, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish, mental health education, and special education, a total of 22 subjects.
The interview subjects for the senior high school teacher qualification examination are divided into: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, ideology and politics, history, geography, music, physical education and health, art, information technology, general technology, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish, mental health education, and special education, a total of 21 subjects.
The interview subjects for the secondary vocational culture course teacher qualification examination are the same as those for the senior high school teacher qualification examination. The interview subjects of the qualification examination for secondary vocational courses and secondary vocational internship instructors shall be selected by the candidates themselves in the registration system (note: candidates who apply for the qualifications of secondary vocational professional courses and secondary vocational internship instructors shall bring the formal textbooks of the professional courses of the secondary vocational school section of the subjects they apply for during the interview).
Assessment content
The interview follows the "Standards for Qualification Examination for Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens" and the "Examination Syllabus" (interview part), and mainly assesses the applicant's professional ethics, psychological quality, appearance, verbal expression, thinking quality and other basic teaching literacy and basic teaching skills such as teaching design, teaching implementation, and teaching evaluation.
Interview process
The interview adopts a combination of structured interview and situational simulation, and is conducted through the process of drawing questions, preparing for classes, answering questions, giving a trial presentation, and defending a defense. Candidates will be randomly selected to prepare for the course in accordance with the relevant regulations, with a time limit of 20 minutes, and an interview with a time limit of 20 minutes. The examiner will give a comprehensive score based on the candidate's performance during the interview process.
Candidates who apply for primary school mental health education, information technology, general subjects, special education, junior high school and high school mental health education, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish, special education and other subjects need to receive the test question list from the staff of the drawing room according to the question sheet number drawn by the system, as the content of lesson preparation and trial lectures; Candidates who apply for other subjects are required to use the national interview and evaluation system to randomly select test questions from the question bank (kindergarten candidates can choose any one of the two test questions drawn, and only one test question will be selected for the rest of the categories).
According to the notice of the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance on re-issuing the administrative fees for the examination of the provincial education system (Chuan Fa Gai Price Gui [2022] No. 484), the registration fee for the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination (interview) is 280 yuan per student.
Primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination belongs to the "People's Republic of China Criminal Law Amendment (IX)" stipulated in the scope of the national examination, candidates are requested to strictly abide by the examination discipline, if there is any violation of discipline and malpractice in the examination, in accordance with the "People's Republic of China Education Law", "National Education Examination Violation Handling Measures" (Ministry of Education Order No. 33) and other laws and regulations will be seriously dealt with, violations of the criminal law and suspected crimes will be transferred to the public security organs for handling according to law. Those who cheat will be banned from participating in the teacher qualification examination for 3 years in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Teacher Qualification Regulations".
