Recently, I inadvertently pai'se road test spy photos of Changan Deep Blue's new SUV, internally codenamed C857, the new car is a compact SUV based on Changan's new dedicated electric vehicle platform, which is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2024. It is powered by a range-extender hybrid system and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system.
In terms of appearance, from the spy photos, the new car adopts heavy camouflage, and the details are unrecognizable, but from the general outline, it can be seen that the new car as a whole adopts a new design language of dark blue, and the front face has an angular closed front grille, which looks like a "mecha god of war", which is very combative. At the same time, it highlights the identity of new energy. On both sides, the upper and lower split headlight clusters are adopted, the upper part is narrow daytime running lights, and the lower part is the fog lamp area.
From the body, it looks more like a smaller version of the S7. However, the rear of the body is more rounded and square than the S7. The rear, currently flanked by bulb designs, cannot be shaped separately for the headlight clusters, but judging from the silhouette, it will be equipped with two narrow tail light clusters.
In terms of interior, from the perspective of spy photos, the new car may adopt the interior configuration of S7, and the center console is only equipped with a design layout of a super-large floating central control screen.
