In recent years, Boli County has fully tapped the potential of sports reserve talents and actively created county-level characteristic sports training. In January 2022, the Boli County Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, Television and Tourism actively promoted the establishment of the Boli County Youth Short Track Speed Skating Team at the Boli County Youth Amateur Sports School, laying a talent foundation for the rapid development of the short track speed skating project and adding new impetus to the development of short track speed skating.
Since the establishment of the team, the Boli County Youth Short Track Speed Skating Team has actively established a talent delivery mechanism with the province and city, and initially formed a "pyramid" talent training and transportation echelon model of "characteristic school-basic class-key class-provincial team-national team". As of the end of December 2023, a total of 5 provincial, municipal and county competitions have been organized, and a total of 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 7 bronze medals have been won. Up to now, 5 outstanding short track speed skating reserve talents have been sent to the key class of Qitaihe short track speed skating.
In order to solve the problem of long distance training on the ice of the speed skating team, in March this year, with the strong support of the Boli County Party Committee and County Government, and learn from the early implementation of the field training model of the Qitaihe team, actively promote the implementation of the Boli County Youth Short Track Speed Skating Team in Qitaihe for the integration of food, accommodation, study and training, and coordinate the training team members to study in the fifteenth primary school of the city in the way of borrowing, and rent the training apartment in a unified manner, and set up the "Boli County Sports School Short Track Speed Skating Home" Implement centralized dining and daily management, equipped with nutrition chefs and life teachers, to provide athletes with nutritious and balanced meals to ensure the health of athletes. In terms of training, the Boli County Youth Short Track Speed Skating Team has a coaching team with rich teaching experience to provide personalized training programs for athletes, coaches according to each athlete's physical condition and technical level, formulate appropriate training plans, and through scientific training methods, help athletes gradually improve their technical level. The integrated service of food, housing, learning and training not only provides a more convenient training environment for young athletes, but also promotes the all-round development of athletes to a large extent. In addition, the Boli County Youth Short Track Speed Skating Team also pays attention to the cultivation of athletes' mental health and teamwork ability, and organizes various team activities and psychological counseling to enable athletes to better adapt to collective life, enhance team cohesion, and contribute to the development of Qitaihe short track speed skating.
