Curiosity is a source of boundless perseverance and patience among scientists.

- Albert Einstein

Curiosity is a trait that every scientist possesses.

It is curiosity that allows scientists to continue to promote the development of innovative research, which in turn further promotes the progress of society. One of the most adventurous, courageous and determined young scientists is the force behind them, actively exploring cutting-edge technologies and daring to try new directions in known fields.

Since 1999, MIT Technology Review has been identifying young technology innovators under the age of 35 to give them the attention they deserve, recognize their innovative work in the field of technology, and inspire them to continue to achieve greater success in their professional fields.

After more than 20 years of precipitation, MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 (TR35) has become one of the most authoritative evaluation systems for young science and technology innovation talents in the world. Of course, while looking at the world, we must not forget that in every country and every region, there is also such a group of young people who are working hard for its development. In order to make more young innovators visible, TR35 began a regional selection in 2010.

As one of the most culturally diverse regions in the world, the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow rapidly, and its power of technological innovation cannot be underestimated. Since the launch of the new edition of the Asia-Pacific "35 Under 35 Technology Innovators" in 2021, it has been successfully held for three times, with more than 100 outstanding young people emerging (2021 inductees, 2022 inductees, and 2023 inductees).

In 2024, we hope to use this platform to discover more young scientific and technological talents with great development potential, and push this group of agile, inspired and creative scientific and technological young people to a diversified and global stage, and at the same time, let more scientific and technological achievements "brought in" and "go out" continue to add a new chapter to the development of science and technology in the Asia-Pacific region.

We welcome young scientists, researchers, and technology entrepreneurs under the age of 35 in the Asia-Pacific region to participate in the 2024 MIT Technology Review "35 Under 35" Asia-Pacific selection. The TR35 Asia Pacific Awards recognises cutting-edge technologies that solve the world's problems and the contribution that candidates have made to the social, economic and sustainable development of their communities through these technological breakthroughs.
