Sun Wei particularly emphasized the key role of new energy storage technology in building a new power system, and he believes that the new power system presents four characteristics: "multi-source complementarity, source-grid coordination, supply and demand interaction, and flexible intelligence". Energy storage can not only safely eliminate peaks on the grid side, but also be used for application scenarios such as peak regulation and frequency regulation, power grid expansion, temporary emergency response, and new energy consumption. New energy storage is an important technology and basic equipment for building a new power system, and an important support for achieving the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
