Ford Focus is determined to be discontinued in 2025, and the glorious history of many years is about to come to an end, Ford has launched an ultimate version of the ST Edition for passionate fans who like the Focus, which has been specially tuned and upgraded to bring the most powerful performance, which is the last blessing for this classic car, and it is currently open for pre-order in Europe, priced at about 390,000 yuan.
The Ford Focus ST Edition will be launched in Europe and will be sold in the same way as its facelifted predecessor, with the Track Pack chassis upgrade, which includes a high-low and soft stiff adjustable shock absorber system, Brembo brakes and a range of other enhancements to enhance the car's sporty performance and driving pleasure.
Similar to its predecessor, the Focus ST Edition, which was launched in 2021, the new model comes in an RS-style Azura Blue exterior colour with high-gloss black trim strips to accentuate the overall visual tension of the body. The 19-inch multi-spoke rim is fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, and the lightweight rim reduces the unsprung weight by about 10%.
The interior is finished in black leather and Alcantara, with white stripes and Motion Blue stitching on the barrel racing seats, steering wheel and carpet. The suspension system can be individually adjusted for compression and rebound, and the springs are approximately 50% stiffer than the standard ST, and the height of the body is reduced by approximately 10 mm, with a height space of approximately 20 mm that can be adjusted. To help owners choose the best combination of 12-stage compression and 16-stage rebound settings, Ford provides a technical document that describes the recommended settings for various driving conditions.
The 2.3-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged engine makes 280 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, which is adjusted by an electronic limited-slip differential. Dynamically, it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
The new Ford Focus ST Edition is available for order in Europe and is available alongside the regular ST model, which is available in both hatchback and touring versions, while the former is only available in the hatchback and is more expensive than the regular ST model.
