"How dare you arrest me, do you know who I am? Do you know who my dad is?"
These are the words spoken in 1999 when Chi Haotian, vice chairman of the mainland's Central Military Commission, ordered the arrest of Major General Ji Desheng and Ji Desheng resisted.
Why did Chi Haotian arrest Ji Desheng? Who is the "my father" that Ji Desheng is shouting about?

The reason for Ji Desheng's arrest began with the Taiwan Strait crisis in 1996.
Chinese mainland and Taiwan have always been one and the same, which was doomed from thousands of years ago. However, after the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, when the mainland was engaged in the war of liberation, Chiang Kai-shek was forced to move to Taiwan with a large army because he was defeated by the strength of the People's Liberation Army.
At that time, the maritime power of the People's Liberation Army was very weak, and the rest of the forces were eyeing the mainland behind their backs, so after Chiang Kai-shek's defeat and retreat to Taiwan, the mainland did not take advantage of the victory to pursue and liberate Taiwan together.
This has created a very difficult situation, Chinese mainland and Taiwan are respectively ruled by two political parties with different ideas, which makes Taiwan's return very difficult.
Since Chiang Kai-shek's defeat and retreat to Taiwan, there has been constant friction between the two sides of the strait, and although Chairman Mao has been trying to find a way to recover Taiwan, he has no choice but to achieve much success. But in the 90s of the last century, the pattern of Taiwan suddenly changed.
Chiang Kai-shek was known to be a man who liked to concentrate power in his own hands. Therefore, even if Taiwan is defeated, the Kuomintang can only speak by the people of their Chiang family.
But it's a pity that even if Chiang Kai-shek is capable, it can't withstand the disgrace of future generations. Chiang Kai-shek's son, Chiang Ching-kuo, was only a man of good will, and none of Chiang Kai-shek's grandsons could be of great use.
Therefore, after the death of Chiang Ching-kuo, Taiwan, which was spoken by the Chiang family, changed. The overlapping political regimes began within the Taiwan region, and in the end, Taiwan was controlled by a faction represented by Lee Teng-hui. Lee Teng-hui's assumption of office can be regarded as slowly igniting the fuse of the crisis in the Taiwan Strait.
Although Chiang Kai-shek occupied the mountains in the Taiwan region, Chiang Kai-shek never thought that the Taiwan region was not part of China, and in Chiang Kai-shek's understanding, Chinese mainland and China Taiwan were both part, and he would return to the mainland sooner or later.
But Lee Teng-hui is different, and he will go with whoever Lee Teng-hui gives the most benefits. In 1994, Lee Teng-hui's plane passed through Hawaii, the territory of the United States. The then US Secretary of State demanded that the United States strictly adhere to the "one-China" strategy. Therefore, the United States did not receive Lee Teng-hui's passing.
However, this incident has set off a wave of discussion within the American political arena. Some people accuse the United States of being too undemocratic in its approach to Lee Teng-hui. The United States should reflect on this, and there should be no such behavior next time.
Therefore, in early 1995, Lee Teng-hui once again euphemistically expressed his wish to return to his alma mater in the United States for a visit. The United States has launched a heated discussion on this incident.
There are two opinions in the US political circles, some of which hold that Lee Teng-hui should be denied entry into the United States, while others believe that the United States should pursue democracy to the end and agree with Lee Teng-hui's entry into the United States.
Eventually, these two opinions were sent to the White House, to the desk of US President Clinton. After thinking about it, Clinton made a decision and agreed to issue a visa to Lee Teng-hui to enter the United States.
However, the wording used by the United States is "leader of the Taiwan region" and that Lee Teng-hui is welcome to visit the United States in his "private capacity." This is undoubtedly an affirmation that Chinese mainland and Taiwan are two separate entities. It is a wedge between Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
However, Lee Teng-hui does not care about the meaning of what the United States says, and as long as the United States can give it benefits, Lee Teng-hui will not care about these things. As a result, Lee Teng-hui did not come forward to oppose the US remarks.
In May 1995, Cornell University, Lee Teng-hui's alma mater, sent an invitation to Lee Teng-hui and invited him to return to his alma mater. Lee Teng-hui gladly acceded to the offer.
Traitors appeared in the PLA
As the first high-level Taiwan official to visit the United States in 17 years, Lee Teng-hui's move has undoubtedly brought a great shock to all countries in the world. The bond between China and Taiwan is well known to the world, so countries around the world are wondering what Chinese mainland will do in response.
Of course, Chinese mainland cannot watch Lee Teng-hui collude with the United States to provoke the mainland. In response, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) is preparing to launch military exercises in the Taiwan Strait to deter the United States and some people in Taiwan. The PLA's actions undoubtedly send a signal: if the Taiwan region is still obsessed, the PLA may turn the exercise into a real gun!
In July 1995, Chinese mainland conducted the first phase of military exercises. This time, the exercise began on July 21. The mainland test-fired six DF-15 missiles at the Leadshan missile base in Jiangxi. All six missiles hit the target perfectly, and this was the first test launch. It is also the first manifestation of the mainland's opposition to Lee Teng-hui's visit to the United States.
On August 15, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) began military exercises at sea. Ships, planes and other weapons were dispatched one after another. Drills were held at sea. At the same time, the mainland's ships and aircraft are constantly displayed along the coast of southern Fujian. From October to November 1995, the mainland integrated its naval and land forces and held an amphibious landing exercise in Fujian Province. At this point, the first phase of the exercise was sold out.
However, the Taiwan region and Lee Teng-hui did not choose to stop his trip to the United States, so on 8 March 1996, the mainland began the second phase of military exercises. This time, the mainland directly set the destination of the missile in Keelung. At this time, Taiwan was holding its first election for the leadership of the Taiwan region.
After the missile fell, there was no doubt that the relations between the two sides of the strait were even more tense. More good people saw that it was not a big deal, and immediately stood up and released rumors, saying that Matsu's Dongju Island was going to be occupied.
As a result, the Taiwan region immediately entered a state of alert. Seeing that the situation is so tense, the United States also sent an aircraft carrier group to Taiwan waters to conduct military exercises. People from various countries in the Taiwan region are also in a hurry to prepare to return to China. In this very tense situation, Chinese mainland and Taiwan have formulated a combat strategy for this purpose.
As far as the Chinese side is concerned, although the Chinese side dispatched a lot of military weapons this time, considering that the people of Taiwan are innocent and that both sides of the strait are one family, none of the missiles fired used live ammunition.
But the future shocks Taiwan, and Chinese mainland has not revealed this news. However, in 1996, the PLA's exercise plan was unexpectedly known to the Taiwan region.
There were traitors in the PLA, and all the types of weapons and plans on the mainland side were leaked out by these traitors! For this reason, even though our army had the upper hand at that time, in the end, the crisis in the Taiwan Strait was still silent on both sides of the strait and gradually subsided.
Later, with Lee Teng-hui's election as leader of the Taiwan region, the crisis was completely turned over. Chinese mainland has not turned its face. However, although the crisis has turned the page, the problem of traitors within the PLA must be immediately put on the agenda to be resolved. Treason, at all times, is a very serious problem.
After searching, our army finally found that the person who leaked the secret was the head of the ordnance department of the People's Liberation Army and a series of officials, and Ji Desheng mentioned at the beginning was included in it. Ji Desheng was serving as a general of the General Staff in the People's Liberation Army at that time, which can be said to be a bright time for the future. But Ji Desheng is insatiable.
As a member of the People's Liberation Army, I am sorry for the clothes on my body. And not only taking bribes on the mainland. In the face of the sweet words thrown by Western countries, they also took it all as they were. Directly told all the secrets in the PLA to Western countries.
They did not realize at all what the mainland would face and what the people of the mainland would face after these secrets were leaked. After the mainland realized that there were traitors inside, Ji Desheng knew that he couldn't escape. So he began to quickly dispose of the improper property in his hands, and purchased assets in the United States in advance, and sent his wife and children over.
Ji Desheng knew that he would be discovered, but he didn't expect that he would be discovered so quickly. So, at the beginning of the article, after Ji Desheng found out that he was arrested, he tried to quibble, and even moved out his father as a backrest.
So, who is Ji Desheng's father?

Ji Desheng's father's name is Ji Pengfei, a loyal communist fighter on the mainland and a former vice premier of the State Council on the mainland. It can be said that Ji Pengfei is a great figure who is not inferior to Deng Xiaoping.
In 1910, Ji Pengfei was born in Shanxi. At the age of 16, Ji Pengfei entered the army hospital to study, where he felt the indomitable spirit of the Communists and the enthusiasm of the Communists who shed their blood for the motherland.
After a long period of edification, Ji Pengfei resolutely decided to join the Communist Party of China and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
In 1931, Ji Pengfei served as the head of the military medical department of the Red Fifth Army Corps, and worked hard for the revolution with the Red Army. In 1933, Ji Pengfei joined the Communist Party of China as he wished. The following year, Ji Pengfei became the deputy director of the Central Military Commission's Health Bureau, and led the hospitals under his jurisdiction to follow the Red Army on the Long March.
After the end of the Long March, Ji Pengfei served as the Minister of Health in northern Shaanxi. Later, due to the needs of the Anti-Japanese War, Ji Pengfei came to Anhui from northern Shaanxi to assist the New Fourth Army in setting up a rear hospital to provide medical support for the New Fourth Army.
During the Anti-Japanese War, Ji Pengfei would not only treat diseases, but also pick up a gun and go to the battlefield. Between 1940 and 1945, Ji Pengfei repeatedly commanded the team against the Japanese invaders. He made great contributions in the Battle of Guocun and the Battle of Huangqiao.
It can be said that if there is no Ji Pengfei, it will take a lot of effort for the New Fourth Army to gain a firm foothold in southern Jiangsu. During the Anti-Japanese War, Ji Pengfei united his comrades internally and fought bravely externally. It can be said that Ji Pengfei has vividly expressed the spirit of the Communists.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Ji Pengfei did not stop his steps. In the War of Liberation, Ji Pengfei successively served as commander and political commissar in the Soviet-Chinese Military Region. He participated in the Huaihai Campaign and the Battle of Crossing the River with the People's Liberation Army. It has made tremendous contributions to the cause of China's liberation.
In 1949, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Ji Pengfei began to work in diplomacy. Responsible for maintaining friendly relations between China and Western countries. In 1975, Ji Pengfei stepped down from his diplomatic post and was elected secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. Four years later, because of his outstanding performance, Ji Pengfei served as vice premier of the State Council.
It can be said that Ji Pengfei has been striving for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation all his life. But it is precisely because Ji Pengfei has been fighting for China all his life that he has neglected the education of his children.
Ji Pengfei's life is glorious. Because he has devoted his whole life to the communist ideals and the Communist Party of China. He deserves the admiration of all Chinese.
However, it is such a great person who was pulled out by his own son. Ji Pengfei can obviously spend his old age in peace, but he may never have expected that his son would paint a big stain on his life with his own hands.
In the end, the mainland took into account Ji Pengfei's efforts for China and the Communist Party of China. Ji Desheng was still open to the net and sentenced Ji Desheng to life imprisonment.
