IT Home reported on April 11 that the guide price of Geely's fourth-generation Emgrand alcohol-electric hybrid sedan was lowered by 20,000 yuan, and the new guide price was 109,800 yuan. At the same time, Geely Automobile also launched a new mellow version of the model, with a guide price of 120,800 yuan.
IT Home noticed that the 4th-generation Emgrand alcohol-electric hybrid sedan is consistent with the gasoline version of the same generation in terms of exterior design, but a unique green logo has been added to the rear to highlight its identity as a hybrid model. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4638 mm long, 1820 mm wide, 1460 mm high, and the wheelbase is 2650 mm, which is the same as the petrol version.
In terms of equipment, the fourth-generation Emgrand alcohol electric hybrid sedan comes standard with 16-inch rims, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, leather seats, main and passenger airbags, AutoHold automatic parking system, and electrically heated exterior mirrors. In addition, consumers can choose to equip them with optional equipment such as a 10.25-inch central display, reversing camera and parking sensor. The newly launched version adds LED headlights, taillights, welcome lights, slush plastic instrument panel, leather steering wheel, keyless entry and one-button start system, transparent chassis and GKUI intelligent ecological vehicle machine system.
In terms of power, the fourth-generation Emgrand alcohol-electric hybrid sedan is equipped with a 1.8-liter alcohol-electric hybrid engine and a hybrid-electric drive system. The dedicated 1.8-litre engine has a thermal efficiency of up to 41.5 per cent, a maximum power of 97 kW and a peak torque of 175 Nm. The "alcohol consumption" per 100 kilometers is 9.2 liters, and the emissions meet the China VIB standard.
