Gas or LPG cylinders flowing in the pipes are safe without being violently damaged. Generally speaking, three elements are required for a gas explosion to start a fire.
1. Gas leakage. Gas leaks mainly occur in three parts: connections, gas hoses, and valves.
2. Reach explosive concentration. Methane is the main component of artificial gas and natural gas, and the concentration of methane in the air is too high or too low generally not to cause an explosion, but when it is in between, it may cause an explosion.
3. Encounter an ignition source. Explosions may occur when they are in the range of explosion concentrations, including but not limited to the following.
How can you tell if gas is leaking?
1. Smell with your nose: Once the gas leaks, there will be a unique smell coming out, so you can distinguish it by smelling.
2. Look at the gas meter: turn off the gas appliances at home, and the pointer of the gas meter is still moving when the gas is not in use, which can be judged to have gas leakage.
