In order to enable the "four elders" in the community to enjoy convenient and accessible medical and health services, on the afternoon of April 9, the Baxianqiao Street Community Health Service Center organized members of the internal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, stomatology, gynecologists and family doctors service team to visit Tianhe Home to carry out inspection activities.
Community rounds
At the event site, medical staff measured blood pressure and blood sugar for residents, conducted cardiopulmonary auscultation and oral examination, and asked them about their physical condition in detail and patiently answered their health questions. The medical staff also taught patients with hypertension and diabetes the importance of healthy lifestyle, health indicator monitoring, and regular medication use, and provided one-on-one medication guidance. At the event site, residents suffering from cervical spondylosis and frozen shoulder also experienced Zhu's scalp acupuncture, massage, acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine characteristic therapies sent by the TCM Rehabilitation Department.

Door-to-door visits
In this activity, family doctors provided door-to-door inspection services for the disabled, semi-disabled, and elderly people. In each household, the doctor has a detailed understanding of the health status and medication of the elderly, measures blood pressure and blood sugar for them, conducts physical examination, cardiopulmonary auscultation, pulse and oxygen monitoring, prescribes medication, gives health guidance, and informs them of precautions.
"My family lives on the fourth floor, and I used to have to be carried down by my family when I went out to see a doctor, but now you have come to provide door-to-door service and solved my big problem! Thank you so much!" Uncle Meng, a resident, said happily.
