This new professional certification, offered by NVIDIA for the first time, enables developers, career professionals, and others to validate and demonstrate their GenAI skills and expertise. NVIDIA's new professional certification program introduces two associate-level GenAI certifications focused on proficiency in large language models and multimodal workflow skills.

The certification will be offered from the official start of the GTC (GPU Technology Conference), and in-person attendees will also receive recommended training to prepare for the certification exam.

Greg Estes, vice president of developer programs at NVIDIA, said, "Organizations across industries need to improve their expertise in this transformative technology. Our goal is to assist in upskilling our employees, upskilling qualified professionals, and enabling individuals to demonstrate their proficiency in order to gain a competitive edge in the job market. ”

NVIDIA Launches GenAI Professional Certification

GTC 2024 took place March 18-21 in San Jose, California, and was the first in-person event in five years for GTC, with more than 300,000 people registering to attend in person or online. There are 900 sessions and more than 300 exhibitors showcasing how organizations are deploying NVIDIA platforms to enable industry breakthroughs.

Attendees can choose from 20 full-day hands-on technical workshops, many of which take place virtually in EMEA and APAC time zones.
