How to implement core literacy in the classroom, how to transform the new curriculum standard into a school's subject consensus, what kind of classroom ecology is the ideal classroom, how to promote the curriculum reform and teaching and research transformation centered on classroom reform? These issues of the times are expected to be "solved" by front-line schools and teachers with practice.
"Building an Ideal Classroom" is one of the ten major actions of the New Education Experiment. Over the past 20 years, the New Education Experimental Zone and Experimental Schools have made a lot of effective practical explorations around the construction of ideal classrooms, accumulated rich theoretical and practical achievements, and also emerged a number of typical "samples" of regional curriculum reform and school-based actions. In June 2023, the New Education Network Teacher Learning Center (hereinafter referred to as "New Network Teacher"), which is specifically responsible for teacher training in the New Education Experiment, held the first seminar on "Building an Ideal Classroom" in the Second Primary School of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hebei Province, to promote teachers' professional growth and school-based curriculum reform, and integrate the construction of "Teacher Learning Community" into the practice of curriculum and teaching reform. In April 2024, the second "Building an Ideal Classroom" seminar will be held in Songzi City, Hubei Province, a feast of new curriculum standards and new curriculum reform, and you are welcome to participate.
The second seminar specially invited Professor Yu Wensen, member of the Expert Committee of the National Textbook Committee, Guan Jiangang, a famous teacher of the national "Ten Thousand Talents Program" and a special teacher in Jiangsu Province, Wang Tianrong, a special teacher in Shanghai and a researcher of "problem-based learning", Lin Zhongling, director of the New Education Research Center, Liu Xiang, a special teacher in Jiangsu Province, and Wu Ge, the principal of Liangshuijing Middle School in Sichuan Province, to conduct concept guidance and classroom demonstrations. The second symposium will also select 9 primary and secondary schools from all over the country to contribute their practical wisdom of curriculum reform, and 10 exemplary teachers will share their "annual life narrative", which will fully open up the "host" school running and classroom, and show the practical wisdom and curriculum reform achievements of the new education experimental schools.
