On April 9, local time, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy appeared at the 2024 Film Industry Expo to promote the movie "Mad Max: Berserk Goddess".
As a prequel to "Mad Max 4: Fury Road", it tells the story of the disintegration of the civilized world, the young Florosa (played by Anya Taylor-Joy) was robbed from his original homeland, the Mother Green, and fell into the hands of the heavy machine gang led by the warlord Dimentes (Chris Hemsworth). As they make their way through the wasteland, they come to the castle run by the undead Old Joe (Lahee Hume). As the two tyrants battle for dominance, Friosa must survive trials and use all means to find his way home.
The movie "Mad Max: The Fury Goddess" is directed and written by George Miller, in addition to Hammer and Anya, Alila Brown, Tom Burke and Lahee Hume also joined the film. The film has been selected for the 77th Cannes International Film Festival out of competition, and will have its world premiere during the festival, with a release in North America on May 24.
