How to tell stories, promote spirits, and be a successor? This old Eighth Road Hospital has a clever trick! Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, four steps of exertion, to find the "best solution" for Bethune's volunteer commentary team.
In order to commemorate the death of Dr. Bethune and the 85th anniversary of the publication of "In Memory of Bethune", and to inherit and carry forward the spirit of Bethune, recently, the "Bethune Volunteer Commentary Team" composed of more than 70 people including the backbone of the hospital department and interpretation enthusiasts was officially established.
Addition: recruit backbones and concentrate on training
Everything is difficult at the beginning, but it is difficult for enthusiasts to sign up. As soon as the call was made, the backbone of all departments of the hospital actively signed up, and more than 70 volunteer docents gathered at the Bethune Memorial Hall to strive to be the "fire planters" of Bethune's spirit.
"Teacher, when will you explain, we want to go to the scene to listen!" On this day, after the lecture, the team members were still unsatisfied and gathered forward to continue the exchange.
In early March, the hospital specially invited Zhao Fangting, a teacher from the Martyrs' Cemetery of the North China Military Region, Wu Jingwu, a teacher from Hebei University of Media and Communication, and An Ran, a teacher from the Yin Lingzhi Martyrs Memorial Hall in Shouyang County, Shanxi Province, to come to the hospital to conduct centralized training for the team members in terms of the professionalism, appearance and voice shaping of the instructors.
In the on-site teaching session, Ms. An Ran led the docents into the Bethune and Kotnis Memorial Hall, and she told everyone: "The most important quality in the explanation is sincerity. The flow of the explanation must be smooth, and every connection and transition must be prepared. Then, she conducted an on-site simulation for everyone to explain the content of word memorization, etiquette, and on-site interaction.
Theoretical teaching, demonstration, observation and learning, memorization of lecture notes...... Through a week of intensive training, the team members understood the main content of the explanation work and further deepened their understanding of Bethune's spirit.
Subtraction: select the elite and preach on the spot
After the training, the hospital selected 14 people from more than 70 trainees to set up an "elite explanation team" according to the language foundation, mastery ability, performance experience and other conditions of the team members.
The members of the commentary team went to the Martyrs' Cemetery of the North China Military Region, the Shuangfengshan Cemetery in Hebei Province, and Huamu Village in Pingshan County, Hebei Province, to explain to the officers and soldiers and representatives of medical personnel who participated in the memorial sweeping activities by introducing the historical background, highlighting the deeds of the characters, and carrying forward the spirit of Bethune.
Dr. Norman Bethune traveled thousands of miles to China, and during the 674 days and nights he worked in China, he ...... "The green pines and cypresses guard the heroes, and the spring breeze and white flowers send mourning." The light rain and the loud narration attracted the crowd and students who came to participate in the public memorial activities, which was not only a micro-class learning, but also a practical exercise.
Multiplication: Visit and learn, double the harvest
The explanation work is the bridge between history and reality, and the narrator is to restore history to the audience in easy-to-understand language, and share the joy of art with everyone.
In order to let the team members better understand the history, the hospital organized the team members to visit the exhibition hall of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University in batches.
Really listen, see, feel, learn, and feel while walking. A large number of photos and objects in the exhibition hall record the background, development process, education and teaching of the Military and Political University. The team members learned from the senior commentators of Kang University from the aspects of explanation content, explanation skills, appearance and posture, discussed and excavated the commonalities of telling the stories of the martyrs, and accumulated strength for the next step of the propaganda work.
Division: Combination pairing, complementary advantages
The best way to pay tribute to history is to write a new history, and the best way to grasp the future is to create a better future. "The narrator must not only be able to speak, but also be able to write, only by writing by himself, and devoting himself to the truth, can he get closest to the characters and history. Captain Tang Lina made a request to everyone.
Consultation, blood draw, infusion, surgery...... It's a piece of cake for skilled medical staff. But when writing the speech, one by one the warm "big whites" became novice "little whites".
In order to solve the problem of everyone's creative confusion, the hospital divided the members of the elite team into groups, and used the method of "pairing" to achieve complementary advantages, based on existing materials and typical characters, narrowing the incision, digging deep into history, face-to-face discussion and exchange, and creative collision.
Team member Ma Xiaoru said: "Tell the story of Bethune well, carry forward the spirit of Bethune, as Bethune in the new era, we will internalize it in our hearts and externalize it in our actions, and strive to spread the story of Bethune in the new era with practical actions, so that the spirit of Bethune will always shine." ”
