Visit Zixiling

Written by Sheng Fu Word Count 1628

That day, it was a sunny and rainy day for raising flowers, and I intentionally visited Zixiling.

Zixiling is a place name. Judging from the name, there was probably a ridge in the place, such as Yingang Ridge, which is not far away. It is said that it is a ridge, but the big one is just a small hill.

Zixiling was originally not called Zixiling, but was called Zixiling before. The name Zi Xiling is related to a person, this person is called Tang Geng.

Zixiling (Road)

Tang Geng, the word Zixi, was originally to commemorate him, so this place was renamed Zixiling. As for when and for what reason it was changed to the current Zixiling, it is unknown. Because it was changed to Zixiling, the original commemoration of Tang Zixi was forgotten, and at the same time, this humanistic history was also cut off. In this regard, the eldest brother of "Dongjiang" was angry, saying, "The person who renamed 'Zixiling' 'Zixiling' thinks he is educated, but in fact he is the 'blind pig' in Huizhou dialect!"

I agree, but that's not my focus. I focus on Tang Geng himself. Of course, the two are not in conflict, but the emphasis and emotional orientation are different.

My interest in Tang Geng began when I visited Huang's Study, and Tang Geng was one of the "12 Yuhui Cultural Celebrities". and then learned that Tang Geng had some kind of relationship with Su Dongpo. They are all from Meizhou, Sichuan, serious fellow villagers, and secondly, they have also been relegated to Huizhou. Tang Geng was relegated to Huizhou in the fourth year of Daguan (1110), and Su Dongpo was in the first year of Shaosheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1094), 16 years apart. Again, Tang Geng's poems are precise and workmanlike, and they are known as "Little Dongpo". Liu Kezhuang said that "the poems are high, not only the poems, but also the poems, which came out a little later, and the gate of the Dongpo should not be under Qin Chao", giving a high evaluation. And because Zixiling is close to the South Temple, this prompts me to visit.

The west exit of Zixiling is Nanmen Road, near Housuo Street, Yingangling and Yaowu Lane. Entering from this entrance, the main road of Zixiling Road is not long. In the twists and turns of the branch, there are Zixiling Lane 2, Lane 3 and Lane 4, and the range should belong to the Zixiling community. The houses in this area are a bit old, and they are probably built after the liberation. However, no historical buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties have been found. The whole environment is relatively dark and old.

In the third lane, there is a kindergarten, named Dongpo Kindergarten. I don't know what the name of the kindergarten here is Dongpo? It seems to be what I think about connecting Tang Geng and Su Dongpo. There is an old house diagonally opposite the kindergarten, which is already a dilapidated building and is uninhabited. Further in, on the higher ground, several houses built are also mottled. Downstairs, there are a few magnolia trees that are about to sprout, as if they can smell the fragrance, and the green leaves are refreshing, giving this dark place a lot of life. There is a courtyard near the exit of Lane 2, a five-story building, which is the reporter station of Nanfang Daily. The broken leaves in the courtyard are falling, and it is quiet all around, which feels like a secluded afternoon, or a guest taking a tea cool, and it seems to be a brewing thought. Other than that, there are no more discoveries. I just don't know, where did Tang Zixi live in the first place?

When Tang Zixi first degraded Huizhou, he lived in the alley. The name Sheren Lane sounds strange and interesting, and it is meaningful. Another Yuhui cultural celebrity, Chen Pengfei, also lived in Sheren Lane. Sheren Lane, that is, today's City Lane. As one of the alleys of "Nine Streets and Eighteen Alleys", I have specially searched for them.

The city lane is on the south side of Fuqian Heng Street, south of Zhongshan West Road, and the south end of the alley is facing the Christian Huizhou Church. It runs north-south and is almost parallel to Zhongshan North Road to the east. It is 100 meters long and four or five meters wide, and there are houses on both sides. City Lane is located in the middle of the pedestrian street, which can be described as a veritable name. Among them, No. 13 Dudu Lane is the former site of the Huizhou Office of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and a cultural protection unit in Guangdong Province.

City Lane is in the downtown area, Zixiling seems to be on the outskirts of the city, and the distance is only two kilometers, but Zixiling is much more secluded. In fact, the location of Zixiling is probably no longer within the scope of the ancient Huizhou capital.

From this, we can't help but feel that this is like a downgrade. To say the least, this move brought Tang Geng troubles. There's always a reason to move, and if you live well, who would want to move? Tang Geng's move from Urban Lane to Zixiling should not be this kind of housewarming, so it is judged to be a passive move.

For example, during Su Dongpo's stay, in more than two years, he moved four or five times, and he also moved passively. You can imagine the displacement and fatigue among them. So, later, when I had the conditions, even in my old age, I thought about "going home". It's a pity that when he returned to Sichuan at the age of 51, he died of illness on the way home.

Tang Geng (1070-1120), Zixi, was a native of Danling, Meishan, Sichuan. In the first year of Shaosheng (1094), he was recommended by Prime Minister Zhang Shangying and promoted to Gyeonggi Changping. In the fourth year of Daguan (1110), Shang Ying dismissed the prime minister, and Tang Geng was also implicated and placed in Huizhou. When I first arrived in Huizhou, I lived in Sheren Lane, and then moved into Li's Mountain Garden in Nanshazibu, and built a house to live. Later generations changed the name of his residence to Zixiling.

In order to commemorate Tang Geng, the people of Huizhou not only built an ancestral hall to worship, named their place of residence "Zixiling", but also compiled the poems and essays of his residence in Huizhou with Su Shi into "Yu Gong Ji". In the 6th year of Hui, he often traveled to the mountains and rivers in the lake, and also visited Luofu Mountain, Tangquan and other places. He wrote 45 poems and 180 poems in Huizhou. He is the author of 1 volume of "Tang Zixi Wenlu" and 24 volumes of "Tang Zixi Collection".
