It is understood that the west approach bridge of Qinglongmen Bridge is 2.87 kilometers long, with 39 steel pipe pile foundation piers, the first steel pipe pile foundation pier steel gondola is 24.492 meters long, 11.492 meters wide, 5.05 meters high, weighing 166 tons, is a precast concrete floor single-wall steel gondola, its successful decentralization has accumulated experience for the follow-up steel gondola construction, and plans to complete the construction of all steel gondolas in the west approach bridge at the end of December. In the next step, the west approach bridge of Qinglongmen Bridge will carry out concrete pouring at the bottom of the cap and pumping operation in the steel gondola, so as to transform the construction environment of the cap into a dry environment and create prerequisites for the construction of the subsequent cap entity.

Qinglongmen Bridge is jointly constructed by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau and China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau, and is a world-class cross-sea and island project - Ningbo Zhoushan Port Liuheng Highway Bridge Phase II Key Control Project, with a double main span of 756 meters across the Qinglongmen Waterway, connecting the two islands of Zhoushan Fodu Island and Ningbo Meishan Island, and is currently the world's largest span three-tower steel box girder cable-stayed bridge.
