"This year, the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge will be completed, and the south main tower will be an important node in the construction, and the 'Chongqing-Changzhou Expressway Double-track Connecting Road' will also enter a new construction stage. The Chongqing-Changzhou Expressway double-track connection road is an important part of Chongqing's expressway network, and the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge, as an important node of the project, is located about 2 kilometers east of the Cuntan Yangtze River Bridge.
1. "World-class": The south main tower will be completed this summer
With a total length of 1,260m, the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge is a single-span suspension double-tower three-span continuous steel truss girder suspension bridge with a main span of 765m, integrating "urban expressway + urban trunk road + rail transit". The bridge is designed as a double-deck bridge: the upper level is a two-way 6-lane urban expressway, the lower level is reserved for two-way tracks in the center, and the two sides are two-way 4-lane urban trunk roads and sidewalks.
At present, the south main tower, with a total height of 161m, has completed 98.5m, and the construction progress is more than 60%. At an altitude of nearly 100 meters, the construction workers were busy in an orderly manner. In the brilliant spring light, whistling airplanes, dark hands, focused eyes, and skillful operation, everywhere you see is a busy scene of stepping up construction. Han Liang told reporters that according to the construction plan, the south main tower will be completed this summer.
Looking up from the beam of the south main tower to the south, the anchorage on the south bank jumped in front of you.
It is a "large pit" with a length of about 120m and a width of about 90m. In the big pit like the "steel forest", hundreds of construction workers shuttle between the gaps in the steel bar, or stand on the lower layer of the steel bar, or squat on the steel bar surface to carry out steel bar binding. For suspension bridges, the role of anchors is extremely critical, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is "Dinghaishen Needle". 2. "Difficult to build bridges": "the world's first" reputation is difficult to bear
How to really win the reputation of the world's largest span public rail dual-purpose suspension bridge, there are more than one or two difficulties that need to be overcome.
The construction of large-diameter pile foundation is difficult and the technical requirements are high, the special-section bridge tower is high, the technical difficulty is high, and the construction risk is high...... One by one, "roadblocks" stood in front of the construction workers.
"The main tower pile foundation needs to use a diameter of 3.0m bored pile, the maximum pile length is 35m, and the bottom of the pile needs to be slightly weathered mudstone. Han Liang said frankly.
Even more time-consuming and laborious is the anchor foundation pit. Due to the large excavation depth and large volume and complex geological environment, it is necessary to adopt various forms of slope protection, various construction techniques, and strict control of technology, safety and quality.
In addition, a series of problems such as the large weight of the steel truss girder section of the all-welded structure, the complex force system and the cable alignment that is difficult to control have once made the builders fall into thinking.
3. Intelligence: in-depth application of digital management
"The result of thinking is to create a cloud platform for digital management and control. Han Liang introduced that the bridge engineering construction cloud platform built on the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge is mainly centered on BIM applications, and is deeply applied in collaborative management, material tracking, foundation pit monitoring, bridge monitoring, etc.
At present, the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge project has formed a management system of "on-site visualization, data checking, progress knowing, quality control, safety prevention, violation correction, early warning report, full traceability, benefit increase, and model feasible", realizing the digital, refined and intelligent management of engineering construction. "We plan to complete and open to traffic by the end of February 2027. Cao Baiyang, the project leader of the owner's unit, Chongqing Urban Investment Construction Company, revealed.
The Yuchang Expressway Double-track Link Project intersects with important roads such as the Inner Ring Expressway, Yuhang Avenue, Nanjiang Avenue and Ring Expressway, which is a fast passage connecting the northeast area of Chongqing in the "eight horizontal, seven vertical and nine linked" expressway network in the central urban area of Chongqing, and is also an important channel to strengthen the integration of the main urban area, expressway and expressway, and build a twin-city economic circle and interconnected high-speed network in the Chongqing region.
