Tung Chung, the southernmost tip of Shenzhen's Dapeng Peninsula, is rich in mangrove wetlands and coastline resources. On April 8, the 2024 investment promotion results of Nanao Office in Dapeng New District, Shenzhen reached a new level. The signing ceremony of the Tung Chung Happy Resort Hotel project was held at the Tung Chung Community Workstation of the South Australia Office, and Tung Chung Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Tung Chung Chong Street Co-operative Co., Ltd. and Tung Chung Tai Wai Co-operative Co., Ltd. signed contracts with Happy Sea Resort Co., Ltd. respectively.
It is understood that the Tung Chung Happy Resort Hotel project is one of the key projects to promote the implementation of the "Millions of Projects" and "Green Beauty Community" in the Tung Chung community.
The project is located along the shoreline of the Tung Chung Mangrove Wetland, with a total investment of about 30 million yuan, which will transform and upgrade the original collective idle property to create a hotel resort area with a total construction area of about 4,000 square meters, and with the help of landscape resources such as Tung Chung Mangrove Wetland Park, the sixth façade of Tung Chung, and Tung Chung Beach, along the shoreline of the mangrove wetland, a waterfront bar and a starry sky camping area, a mangrove wetland cruise area, a parent-child interactive play area, a market area, a beach entertainment area and other leisure tourism experience areas. The first phase of the project is expected to start in April and achieve trial operation in the second half of the year.
The Tung Chung area is the starting point of the Dongxi Chung coastline, one of the eight most beautiful coastlines in China, and is very popular with outdoor travelers.
