On the afternoon of 8 April, Wang Junzheng, secretary of the regional party committee, had a discussion with responsible comrades of the main central media in Tibet. He stressed that it is necessary to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on propaganda, ideological and cultural work, carry forward positive energy, tell the story of Tibet well, and create a good atmosphere of public opinion for the comprehensive construction of a new socialist modern Tibet.

During the forum, responsible persons of the central media stationed in Tibet spoke one after another to exchange views on propaganda and reporting. He said: For a long time, the central media in Tibet have always adhered to the correct political orientation, public opinion orientation, and value orientation, and have launched a number of high-quality, warm, and down-to-earth news works through all-round, multi-angle, and three-dimensional propaganda, thus making positive contributions to disseminating Tibet's voice and displaying Tibet's good image.
Wang Junzheng pointed out that this year marks the 75 th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 65 th anniversary of Tibet's democratic reform. It is hoped that the central media in Tibet will improve their political position, conscientiously study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on propaganda, ideological and cultural work, and Tibet work, as well as the party's strategy for governing Tibet in the new era, reflect the new atmosphere and new changes in Tibet in a three-dimensional and diversified way, and provide strong public opinion support for striving to write a chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Tibet.
Wang Junzheng stressed: It is necessary to base ourselves on the overall situation of Tibet's work, tell the story of Tibet well, and be a good propagandist of the new Tibet of socialist modernization. Give full play to their respective advantages, publicize General Secretary Xi Jinping's great attention to Tibet's work and his cordial care for the cadres and masses of all ethnic groups in Tibet, publicize the specific measures for Tibet to unremittingly grasp the implementation of the four major events of "stability, development, ecology, and strengthening the border", tell more about the heart-warming things around the masses, use more common words to empathize with the masses, and guide the cadres and people of all ethnic groups to listen to the party, feel the party's kindness, and follow the party. It is necessary to meet the needs of the development of the situation, innovate ways and means, and be a good promoter of Tibet's news and propaganda work. Continue to update concepts, focus on innovation in concepts, means, mechanisms, and carriers, and actively explore new measures and new methods that are conducive to solving work problems. Continuously enhance the strength of feet, eyesight, brain, and pen, create a number of good works that are "soiled", "with dewdrops" and "steaming", and strive to improve the dissemination, guidance, influence, and credibility of news and public opinion.
