Electric pickup trucks have entered a new stage of blooming, and various manufacturers are riveting their efforts to open up new markets in this field, and at the same time, their products are beginning to be greener and more sustainable.
Geely's all-electric pickup radar horizon
As the first four-wheel drive pure electric super pickup truck in China, Radar Horizon redefines the super new standard of China's new energy pickup truck with super performance such as 000 acceleration in 4 seconds.
As the first and only native electric pickup platform in China, the M.A.P Radar Hanhai platform not only provides Radar Horizon with basic pickup attributes that surpass traditional pickup trucks, but also enables it to rely on pure electric energy and has three major attributes: energy platform, IoT platform and intelligent platform.
Relying on the advantages of the platform, the radar horizon is equipped with a high-performance permanent magnet synchronous dual electric drive system, with a peak total power of up to 315kW and a peak total torque of 594Nm.
First, the characteristics of the pickup truck, the radar horizon not only has the highest rated load of 865kg in China's pickup, the strongest wading capacity of 815mm and the maximum climbing degree of 95%, but also the towing capacity of 3000kg is comparable to that of the Ranger. The electrification of the Ford F-150 is a big deal, especially since the regular version model has been the best-selling vehicle (not just a truck) in North America for 40 years in a row. Since the launch of the Lightning in May 2021 (which takes its name from the high-performance gas-powered F-150), tens of thousands of Americans have booked one. In terms of power, Ford F-150 Lightning uses front and rear dual motors, with a maximum power of 433kW, a peak torque of 1050N·m, and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.5s, under EPA conditions, its pure electric maximum range is about 515 km, while Ford F-150 Lightning not only has a four-wheel drive system, but also a total of four driving modes: standard, sport, off-road and traction. Judging from the power of the Ford F-150 Lightning, this performance is okay, after all, more than 1,000 Nm of torque is also relatively rare on the market.
Rivian R1T皮卡车
Rivian is currently available in three versions: base spec dual motor (526bhp, 610lb ft torque), high-performance dual motor (656bhp, 829lb ft) or quad motor (824bhp, 908lb ft). Buyers can also choose from three battery sizes – 105kWh (standard), 135kWh (large), and 180kWh (maximum) – with a range of up to 410 miles for the dual-motor model and up to 328 miles for the quad-motor model. It is also not short of cargo space, with 330 litres inside the hood, 350 litres in the "gear channel" and a 200-litre sealed box under the floor of the rear bed.
Tesla Cybertruck punk pickup

The all-wheel-drive version of the Cybertruck and the high-end Cyberbeast are expected to be delivered in 2025. Tesla plans to deliver 250,000 Cybertrucks per year, however, Musk previously said that this delivery rate will not be achieved this year and will not be achieved until 2025.
Hummer electric pickup truck

Atlis is another American startup with a slice of the electric pickup space, and Atlis first showed the world its wedge-shaped XT pickup in 2019, equipped with a claimed 500-mile range – and a 15-minute fully charged time.
The rest of the specs are equally impressive: 600+bhp, 12,000lb ft torque, 0-60mph acceleration in 5.0 seconds, top speed 120mph, nearly 2.3 tons payload, nearly 16 tons towing capacity. Buyers can choose between 6.5 or 8-foot space specs, and the entry-level version starts at $45,000 with a 125 kWh battery for a range of 300 miles. Meanwhile, the highest-range model comes with a 250kWh battery for a range of 500 miles and starts at $69,000.
EdisonFuture EF1-T电动皮卡

Canoo electric pickup truck
With a width of 78 inches and an overall length of 184 inches, the Canoo LTV is much shorter but wider compared to the Ford Ranger. It has a similar maximum payload to the Ford Ranger at 1,800 pounds, but Canoo hasn't said if the LTV can be used for towing. The new car has a length of 5,400 mm, a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, a width of 2,290 mm, and a height of 2,085 mm. The cargo bed has a depth of 522 mm, a width of 1,627 mm, a length of 1,817 mm (1,627 mm wide and 2,600 mm long) and tyres in size 265/60 R18.
The car is fitted with air suspension, 32-inch all-terrain tires, and the civilian version of the 80 kWh battery pack is expected to have a range of about 200 miles. It has four-wheel drive and can reach up to 600 horsepower, which is more than enough for a relatively small truck. As the third model under the "skateboard" platform of the CANOO company, the new pickup truck uses a combination of dual electric motors or rear motors. The combined maximum output of the two motors is 550 hp and 745 Nm. The payload is about 4,000 kg. The range will be greater than 320 km.
