At the same time, many "green media" on the island of Taiwan began to frantically promote Japan's help to the Taiwanese people during the earthquake. The wolf ambition of the DPP authorities to hype up the "Taiwan independence" line by taking advantage of the earthquake is really obvious.

Second, Hualien has just experienced a massive earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale. At this time, the PLA launched military operations around Taiwan, which did not do any good to ease cross-strait relations.
Even if the People's Liberation Army (PLA) launches military action in the near future, it will give the DPP authorities an opportunity to deliberately stir up cross-strait contradictions. The People's Liberation Army (PLA) will never fall into the DPP's role.
The third and most important point is that Taiwan's "defense department" announced that it would postpone the live-fire exercise in the Kinmen area. In fact, this move by the "Taiwan authorities" is subservient to the PLA and the mainland.
This is because the "defense forces" in the Taiwan region do not have the strength to confront the PLA, and in the face of the reality gap, no matter how arrogant certain DPP politicians are, they will not dare to take the mainland people and the PLA lightly.
Therefore, under comprehensive consideration, the PLA has reduced its recent activities around the Taiwan Strait. However, this does not mean that the DPP can get away with it, and they still have to give the mainland a reasonable explanation for the series of actions they have done in the past.
For example, after the "14 February vicious collision incident," the "Taiwan authorities" refused to release the results of the investigation, and at the same time refused to apologize and pay compensation to several mainland fishermen who were killed. The mainland side will not forget the bad deeds of the DPP authorities, and sooner or later the mainland will have to settle accounts with the DPP!
