The reporter learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on the 9th that the list of the first batch of livable, business-friendly and beautiful villages in Jiangsu Province was recently released, and 1,241 administrative villages (agriculture-related communities) such as Nanjing Jiangning Shecun Community, Wuxi Huishan Taoyuan Village, and Suzhou Wujiang Kaixiangong Village were on the list.
In order to allow the majority of farmers to live a modern and civilized life on the spot, since last year, Jiangsu has deeply studied and applied the experience of the "Ten Million Project", and on the basis of the experience of creating ecologically livable and beautiful villages, and in accordance with the "ten haves" standards such as village planning, environmental improvement, and management and protection mechanism, Jiangsu Province has cultivated and built the first batch of livable, workable and beautiful villages in Jiangsu Province. Compared with the past, the guidance and cultivation of industrial development, supporting facilities, and governance effectiveness have been more prominent, and the layout of rural production, life, and ecological space has been further optimized to promote the upgrading of rural infrastructure.
In the future, Jiangsu Province will continue to carry out the annual cultivation and construction of livable, workable and beautiful villages, and strive to build more than 3,000 administrative villages into livable, workable and beautiful villages by 2025. Taking this as an opportunity, all localities will also carry out the construction of Hemei rural areas (belts) according to local conditions, promote the integrated design, group development and differentiated layout of villages in the region, and accelerate the formation of livable and business-friendly villages and beautiful villages.
