A few days ago, the Waihai Customs under Jiangmen Customs seized 2 drug-related express packages in the inbound express channel, containing 1076.51 grams of the new drug "hallucinogenic mushroom".
When the customs officer conducted a machine inspection on the two express shipments declared as "nuts", they found that the images were abnormal. After opening the box and inspecting it, it was found that the package was not sealed, and the incision of the dried mushrooms was dark blue. Based on the risk factors such as the country of origin, abnormal packaging, abnormal images, and inconsistent declarations, the customs officer judged that the recipient was suspected of smuggling "hallucinogenic mushrooms", so he took samples for inspection as soon as possible. It has been identified that the batch of dried mushrooms contains seloxine and psilocybin, which will produce strong hallucinations after consumption, manifested as blurred vision, irritability, increased blood pressure, and may also cause convulsions all over the body, coma, myocardial infarction, etc.
At present, the case has been handed over to the anti-smuggling department for follow-up processing.
