Recently, Shenzhen Post Office Customs seized 478.1 grams of cannabis e-liquid and 1253.3 grams of marijuana gummies in a transshipment shipment.
When the customs officer of the Shenzhen Post Office supervised the transshipment goods, he found that the machine inspection image of a package declared as "beauty supplies" was suspicious, and he immediately opened the box for inspection. After investigation, it was found that there were 3 pieces of clothes in the ticket package, and another packaging bag contained a batch of cannabis products, including a total of 478.1 grams of cannabis e-liquid and 1253.3 grams of marijuana gummies. After reagent testing, the batch of products were all positive for marijuana. At present, the case has been handed over to the anti-smuggling department of the Customs for handling.
Customs reminder: Cannabis is included in the "Catalogue of Narcotic Drugs (2013 Edition)", which is a narcotic drug controlled by the mainland, and according to the "Regulations on the Administration of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances", the state implements control over the original medicinal plants of narcotic drugs, as well as narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. According to article 347 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, smuggling, selling, transporting, or manufacturing narcotics, regardless of the quantity, shall be investigated for criminal responsibility and punished.
