As soon as the day dawned, villager Deng Jianghua wore a raincoat and rain boots, gloves, and a special bamboo shoot picking bag on his back, and went into his own bamboo forest. With the crisp sound of "click, click, click", the bamboo shoots were picked in the hands, and after a while, they filled the bags they were carrying.
Deng Jianghua, who walked out of the bamboo forest, was already soaked with dew, and he didn't have time to take off his raincoat, so he sat down and skillfully peeled bamboo shoots, his face full of joy of harvest.
"The bamboo has been planted for five years, and it has only begun to be put into production, and the yield of bamboo shoots per mu can reach about 500 catties. This year, 7 yuan a catty, year by year is higher than year by year, and the price is getting better year by year. Deng Jianghua said with a smile that in recent years, under the call and leadership of the village "two committees", he has also planted more than 30 acres of bamboo.
Yingdi Village, where Deng Jianghua lives, is located in the second mid-mountain area, with an average altitude of 1,432 meters, a total of 345 households and 1,493 people, and 23,500 acres of forest land. In recent years, Yingdi Village has closely followed the development pace of building a bamboo industry of "one county and one industry", made full use of the original nearly 500 acres of natural bamboo forest resources and non-grain areas suitable for forests and barren hills and slopes to concentrate on the development of bamboo industry, and actively integrated rocky desertification control and other projects to continue to promote the high-quality development of the bamboo industry, leading the masses to "rely on the mountains to eat the mountains" to promote income increase.
In order to make this industry bigger and stronger, Yingdi Village has established a bamboo planting base by transferring 3,000 acres of barren mountain woodland in the form of "party branch + village collective company + cooperative + farmer". At the same time, with the model of party members (large households) + bamboo farmers, the bamboo farmers are led by the demonstration of party members, and a total of 30 demonstration households of large party members will be created in the village in 2021. In order to enhance the enthusiasm of villagers to plant, protect and raise bamboo, Yingdi Village has integrated funds from various parties, purchased organic fertilizer and distributed it to villagers, and hired professional and technical personnel to train relevant technologies on site.
"It's going to be a little easier in the past two years, and in the past few years, the two adults in the family have been working from early morning to dark, and they have been circling around the bamboo every day. Seeing that his 200 acres of bamboo forest was gradually put into production, Li Ruifa, a villager in Yingdi Village, was very pleased.
After five years of "fighting heaven and earth", the bamboo industry in Yingdi Village has developed to 20,069 acres, including 14,284 acres of bamboo and 5,785 acres of square bamboo.
It is reported that it is expected that by 2025, relying on the development of the bamboo industry, Yingdi Village can achieve the goal of increasing per capita income by more than 10,000 yuan.
